Northern Ireland = British. Technically N. Ireland is part of the UK. Great Britain however, is England, Scotland, and Wales. Indeed it is. It's all one crazy, stupid thing.
I would think that England would win due to a larger population, and therefore I assume a larger military force. I also understand that England is the wealthiest region, which helps.

Someobody doesn't know their history very well... The Scots joined willingly upon the signing of the Treaty of Union in 1707. Not to mention before that England and Scottland was under one king, a king from Scottland.

I'm Canadian but of scottish decent. Back in the day the Scots, as well as th eIrish, use to ride into battle naked and painted in blue dye. That enough should show their awesomeness.

Exactly, the only chance England have at winning a war against the Scots is if there were over 120 million English, and even then it would only be a balanced fight.
In the spirit of (maybe not so) realistic simulation...
First England would declare war on North Ireland, hours later they would attack, catching N. Ireland off guard they would annex the country easily. They would then declare war on Wales, Scotland can easily see what is going to happen so they make an alliance with Wales, as they English are invading, Scotland launches a counter strike and puts quite a dent in the british military (here comes the not so realistic part) with all 3 remaining forces damaged the secret ninja clan swoops in catching everybody off guard, in response the British light themselves on fire (ninjas can't catch you if you're on fire) and jump into the atlantic ocean, the whales of Wales swallow them up as the ninja assasins quickly take over the world in under 20 minutes and then live happily ever after. The End

Wales does have a powerful sonic weapon by the name of Tom Jones. To see him atop a mountain, belting out 'Delilah' at 200db, supported by an army of beefy Welsh men charging towards you riding battle-armored sheep is enough to see any army scamper back to where they came from.

Ireland is the island on which the countries of Ireland and Northern Ireland are situated. The UK consists of Britain and Northern Ireland. Hence Northern Ireland is not British :D Anyway, Ireland wins, we go to America and say something vaguely patriotic and immediately every second American remembers their "Irish ancestors" and joins us :P

England certainly has a much higher population than Scotland, but Scotland has trident.

fail. Wales was already part of England conquered by the Normans, not the English. Scotland united with England, they weren't conquered, they needed English money.
Scotland would win because we have control of Britain's Nuclear weapons.
Wales would come second because they are so nice!

How does access to nukes help, only an idiot would launch a nuclear attack on a neighboring country which is confined to a small island, if whichever country had nuclear access did survive the initial blast the resulting fallout would cover the majority of the British isles, slowly killing the entire population and rendering the land unusable, so noone would win in that situation.
N. Ireland would get dominated by the real Ireland if a civil war ever broke out. my only option is to go with the Scots. Welsh people reciever honorable mention
Well.. it depends what aspect your looking at. If your looking for pure military then England would smash everything. To tiny little bits. And then some. If its for sheer awesomeness... then its a tie between the Scotts and England. Ireland also rocks, but it is also getting destroyed from the inside :( ... makes me sad. ....... perhaps im just a fan girl cause of the accents and such, but I really do think the Scotts are an amazing strong and crazy people. ... *waits for her boyfriend to call now so she can get her accent fix* mmm accent...
