A7x Drummer Found Dead

Avenged Sevenfold is one the worst "metal" bands in existence, I also have not even a grain of respect for the band members and quite frankly this news doesn't affect me what so ever. I just thought I'd throw that out.

even tho im not a massive fan of the band i think this is downright disrespectful tbh.

He's an extremely talented drummer imho some very nice fills and his style is pretty good i love it in Almost easy it really locks with the song.But still may he rest in peace any loss is a bad loss we lost 2 good metal musicians in the past couple months both young.Mike from Evile died in Sweden and now the rev.Sad times :(

But right now is most definately not the time to bash the band even tho the cool kids think its the cool thing to do.

Though I'm sure his dad would have no problem playing anything if he could make the money Avenged sevenfold does.

I can understand that some people dislike their music but to come in and say you're glad someone died because you dislike their music is psychotic.

Theyr just another metalcore band who are gonna fade out when the metalcore fad dies out, plus they make their music trendy on purpose to fit in with the metalcore scene, they dont play true music and arent true to themselves musically, when metalcore becomes another fad of the past all these big metalcore bands will lose a nice chunk of their fans and wont be so hot anymore.

only 1 of their albums is really metalcore their more recent album is extremely varied stylistically.They arent just metalcore tbh coming from a person who knows a lot bout core.Most core bands moved on now,Trivium,BFMV went in a more thrash direction for example.

Wow, that's a shock He was a solid drummer too, I wasn't a big fan of avenged though.

Oh no! That guy was an amazing drummer. City of Evil is one of my favorite rock albums from them. :cry:

Avenged is awesome and he was a great drummer. Anyone who would try and deny his talent is just dumb...

Having seen the making of their self-titled it seemed like he was a really cool guy and he did soo much for the band (he not only kicks ass on the drums but has some great back-up vocals).

I really hope the band continue but even then I fear they will never be the same. The Rev just had such a good style that suited the band incredibly well.....

This year has just blown for celebs. Cannot wait for it to be over....

i'm not a fan of them but that's really saf. I remember when the drummer for the last dance died. It was very sad. even though i never got to see them when he was still alive, I still find it difficult when i do see them live. And there's a different drummer on the stage.

Yeah the death of a member can really ruin a band, especially in regards to singers...

Just look at Drowning Pool. Their first album wasgreat and they had potential to set themselves at the very top of the nu-metal scene but then their awesome singer, Dave Williams, died and they have sucked ever since....

Wow!!! I can't believe some of the **** who responed here!!! There are plenty of Avenged haters but this thread isn't the place for it!! For people to hate on the band in what should be a memorial thread is just pathetic and all who have done are pieces of **** Hate on them else where!!!

I have been a fan of Avenged for years and they truely got me into metal with Waking the Fallen!!! This is tragic news to all family, friends and fans!!! He was an amazing drummer, i feel lucky to have seen them live a few times!!! RIP Rev!!!!!

EDIT: I agree with most of you...even if you dont like A7X you have to remember he was a human being and who he was does not reflect on the music he made...very tragic that this happened.
