Pretty much everbody's got one. I've got a bit of a southern drawl, but not enough to get annoying, I'd like to think.  What about you?

I don't really think I have an accent. I'm from Michigan. The only places I have really heard accents in the US in some east coast areas and the south. Everyone else sounds the same to me.

I have your average Midwestern American accent. At one time in my life I had a slight British accent. (I lived there for two years at a young age.)

We don't really get accents anywhere west of the Ontario-Quebec border here in Canada. An Albertan sounds the Same as an Ontarian, Who sounds the same as BCers. But the accents we do get are weird. Newfie accents are so foreign I've seen them subtitled on TV.

So yeah, when I went down to the states, I was a little surprised to hear all the various accents they have down there.

Some people say I have a slight Jersey accent, whatever that means...I guess they think because I from there, I sound like Tony Soprano or something.  I don't sound anything like him.

Yeah Northwesterners don't seem to have much of an accent at all. Boston New york and Jersey all have really strong ones as do the southerners. I live in Oregon btw.

High five! Anyway, I think we need a second opinion, because we both live in the northwest after all so we can hardly trust our own judgement on the issue.... :P

I have a mix of new york, southern and midwestern accents. Not because I've been around the US, but because I've picked up pronunciations from people i know.
