When I was a growing teenager I used Proactiv with successspazzx625Are you, by chance, Justin Bieber?
Exfoliate with soap and water, use moisturiser after if you get dry skin. If that dosn't work find something that's high in salicylic acid (look for 'emergency' spot treatments as the standard stuff really dosn't do anything more than soap) or rub crushed aspirin on your face (salicylic acid == aspirin)
EDIT: It's much more about washing your face regularly and consistently than what you actually use.
i used to use accutane and it worked magnificently. made my lips really dry but nothing a little carmex couldn't help. but seeing as how it's been shown to cause crohn's disease and irritable bowel syndrome and a few other not-so-nice sounding side effects, i don't think you can get it anymore.
but now i just wash my face every day and it keeps me pimple free except for the occasional one.
acne.org has a pretty good cleanser and 2.5% peroxide solution that seems to work really well. Try to avoid rubbing your face (irritation can increase acne), or touching it at all after washing it. Stress is also a leading cause of acne, so try to relax too.AllicrombieBut school and girls raise my stress level all the time. :P It was really bad for me in high school but barely existent now a days. I think its just mainly hormonal levels or something like that.
Wash twice a day with facial soap and water. There is no need for any of the acne washes as they are just basically soap with some salicylic acid mixed in. I prefer to use stuff that is high in benzoyl peroxide in conjunction with the soap as that is a more effective combination.
I use the Neutrogena "On-the-Spot" stuff two or three times a day. It is kinda pricey and doesn't have much in the tube, but you are only supposed to apply it directly onto pimples. I usually just spread it out over the areas where I get breakouts (cheeks really) and it works great. It does dry out the skin though, so be sure to use moisturizer. Also, I use the Neutrogena Clear Pore Mask every two or three days. It is basically the same as the "On-the-Spot", but has more benzoyl peroxide and is a full facial mask.
What's up fellas? I'm having a little trouble keeping away some break outs. It's pretty mild but I'd rather them not be there. I know everyone's different but what products/treatments have you guys had success with?gmoneybball91clindamycin phosphate topical solution.
Clearasil pads work great. You may want to see a dermatoligist to get some prescirption medicine if it's bad.
My acne was never THAT bad, but I tried various over the counter stuff including Proactiv and Acne Free, and nothing ever really worked. The two big named products actually just dried my skin out. I eventually got fed up with everything and went to see a dermatologist, and the pills he gave me work great and the moisturizers he suggested reversed the dryness. I know it can be expensive, but seeing a dermatologist should do you wonders if nothing over the counter seems to work.
