Would you support there being a "Mature" section here on GS? Some of you may remember the "Whats your fetish" thread a few weeks ago, and how much fun it was before it was closed. I think there should be a section of GS where we can have threads like that without them being closed. Who agrees?
Theres no point in having one. So many "immature" people would get in too. And really if you want to post about stuff like that, find somewhere else besides Gamespot.

No not at all, there are plenty of places online. If you read the whats your fetish thread from a few weeks ago you'd know what I mean. It was a very entertaining thread, there was no porn or sex stories, but it wasn't exactly pg-13 either if you know what I mean.
No. Maturity is a greatly misunderstood concept among humans. Very few of us actualy understand it.
Using foul language, and talking about sex for example don't make you a mature person.

I agree. I hate teens who curse, and talk about sex and say they're mature. The real mature people are the people who acknowledge sex, but don't talk about it in their everyday conversation, and refrain from using infantile language.
Yes, if there was a sure fire way to ensure that it was 18+. Mainly to speak freely, I have no desire to talk about sexual things on a video game website.
If anything needs to happen, the ToU needs an overhaul to remove all it's vagueness. And I personally don't see what is wrong with discussing things relating to sexuality with 13 year-olds... they themselves have most likely (and should have learned) a lot about sexuality at that age.

I agree on the ToU, but having such a wide range of age differences here, some are in their 40's some 12 I just think a video game website doesn't need to get into sexual discussions. Who knows though, everything in the OT turns into a joke or 2-4 people arguing after 3 pages anyways.
No, not at all. There's a lot of internet out there, and if people want to talk about those things, no one's forcing them to do it here. Quite the opposite, in fact.

For what? People are just going to lie about their age. There are other websites for those types of discussion. Search engine sites are there for a reason.

That's because most kids are immature and they think they are ready for the more grown up stuff. But if you watch a few of those stupid kid superhero cartoon shows like The Kids Next Door or Teen Titans it kinda makes you wonder why kids think they are the biggest minority. I'll tell you why cause kids need some guidance in their life because growing up is something that kids need to know and understand.
Wow. I voted Yes, but i wasn't thinking about sex. I was thinking about a forum where "bad" words wouldn't be censored. And for those of you who think that being mature somehow means never uttering such profanities, need to grow up. I agree that spouting them at the slightest provocation is unneccessary, but the words carry a purpose, even to the mature.
I agree about the mature section but adult just don't go around telling sex stories and swearing 24/7. That section could actually work except all the kids with fake ages are going to go in it and screw it all up999realthings
you could make it so that it ment mature mental age instead of physical age and a mod had to allow you to see the board
