Age to buy unrated dvds?

So I was wondering do you have to be 17 or 18 generally to buy unrated movies at stores? Not talking about pron but the movies that come out in theaters R and then have unrated editions when they hit DVD/Blu.

It depends on the store. At walmart you have to be 17.

Probably 18. Just buy it from somebody who looks to be around your own age at blockbuster or whatever, they really do not care.

i'm pretty sure if it's an "unrated edition" its really a rated-R edition with extra "unrated content". Its a scam most of the time to make it look better than the "plain old rated-R version". and most stores should require you to be 18, but I dont think many actually check IDs like it's cigarettes or something.

I'd imagine most stores it would just be something young like 16 or 17.

This kinda reminds me of the time where my friend saw a movie coming on AMC and saw it was "Not Rated" and confused it with "Unrated". He was severely disappointed :P
