I find it hilarious how people forgot what happened in September 01.[QUOTE="l4dak47"][QUOTE="kingkong0124"]
Mexico, one of the most corrupt and dangerous countries in the entire world..I can't blame him.
Regardless, nice to see you dodge the issue. Obama has not done a good job defending America from terrorism. Simple as that. I find it hilarious how voters tend forgot about happened in Christmas 09.

People don't, thankfully. Any September 01 was the first major terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Things were a lot different before it, terrorism was on the back of people's minds. in 2009 (and today) terrorism was in everybody's mind. By then, all Americans clearly knew that it was a very real threat.
nope.jpg We knew that AL-Qaeda and osama bin laden was dangerous as far back as the 90s.Mexico, one of the most corrupt and dangerous countries in the entire world..I can't blame him.kingkong0124
Yeah there's none of that in Libya, that's for sure.

What does it mean that "Obama has not done a good job defending America from terrorism"? What metric are you using to measure his preformance?

He has the power of the most advanced and powerful military in the world. It's quite a lot easier to protect your embassies in a country right after a revolution, where it's basically anarchy.
There have been several acts of terror while Obama was in office, that's my metric.

And that's a ridiculous metric to use. It takes an incredible leap of logic to blame the mere existence of terrorist attacks on the alleged failings of Obama.[QUOTE="kingkong0124"][QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"]

True but we can blame him for not having proper security in the middle east on 9/11 for an ambassador.[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"][QUOTE="kingkong0124"]And that's a ridiculous metric to use. There might be some blame reserved for the Obama administration in terms of the security of the consulate, but it is the host country that is responsible for embassy/consulate security. Regardless, we don't know nearly enough about the attack at this point in time to start divvying up blame. He has the power of the most advanced and powerful military in the world. Do you think a country that just overthrew its dictator is going to defend an embassy well?...Obama should know better.

So were you concerned about the danger that the consulate was in prior to the attack? Was anyone in the government concerned about the security situation of the US consulate in Libya prior to the attack? The latter is an honest question that I don't know the answer to. It's a question that can't be answered at this time.It is true that in hindsight that there certainly should've been more security. But until we actually know why there wasn't the proper amount of security at the consulate, it is way too premature to start trying to figure out who should be blamed for the lack of security.
I know it's easy to criticize Obama but the one area he did well on is foreign policy. Of course he could do much better (fvck drone strikes) but it's hard to knock the man for that.
I would argue it's incomplete....supporting the Arab spring in certain countries could turn out poorly.I know it's easy to criticize Obama but the one area he did well on is foreign policy. Of course he could do much better (fvck drone strikes) but it's hard to knock the man for that.

That is certainly a fair point.
It was Bush's fault.DevilMightCrysorta.. i mean.. they are tied of having their asses handed to them.. for which this is retaliation. and you could argue it started under bush..

Yeah, I personally liked when ordered the assassination of a United States citizen without due process. That was great.
