It just happened, but will probably be one of the biggest stories in sports all year. Link.

If you haven't been following the Biogenesis scandal, Alex Rodgriuez and 13 other players had been under MLB investigation all year for allegedly obtaining PEDs from a clinic named Biogenesis in Miami. The first player suspended was former MVP Ryan Braun a few weeks ago. Today MLB announced the suspensions of A-Rod and the other players for the rest of the year.

A-Rod however was also suspended for the entire 2014 season for allegedly obtaning PEDs, Testosterone and Human Growth Hormones, also recruiting other players into the clinic (there's 3 other Yankees players), and for blocking and obstructing invastigators trying to find out the truth.

He gets 211 games without pay (he was supposed to be paid $25 million next season).

Stupid bitch should of just rain Testosterone suspension on Dianabol. Suspension has a half life of like 8-10 hours, and Dianabol is in and out of your system in about 3-6.

Insulin is what's popular with "drug free" athletes - it's undetectable via drug tests; even with an autopsy if you over dose they won't know what caused your death. Insulin increases calorie synthesis = more energy = better athlete.

Alex Rodriguez is probably the greatest role model to America's youth that could ever exist, right up there Lance Armstrong, just goes to show you don't get ahead by being honest and fair, you get to the top by breaking the rules but giving the appearance of being "normal", and who cares if you get shamed later in life, you're rich bitch.

I think the drugs they were using were supposed to be undetectable. MLB didn't find out through drug tests. Rather, by investigating the clinic that provided the players with these drugs.

He might appeal and during the appeal, they could actually hand him a harsher sentence.

In all honesty... Lance Armstrong has testicular cancer and brain cancer. When a man with half a brain and no testicles can beat you in sports, even if juicing - you should feel embarrassed. Only an idiot would of thought a man with half a brain, which causes impaired motor skills and no testicles, which hinders all form of physical activity would think Lance could even complete a marathon. For man with no nuts and half brain to beat 47 other "normal" people on steroids is embarrassing. Those other cyclist need to quit at life.

You kidding? They are probably jumping out of joy!

Its great for them, they will save around $30 million because of this. And if he is no longer in a fit contition to play in 2015 (he will be 40), they can opt out of the rest of his contract (he is still owed around $100 million). Pretty much a year after signing the team has regretted giving him that ridiculous salary contract. Great for the team (they can sign other players now), and great for the fans as well (no one ever even liked him).

I don't know much about MLB or how much guap Rodriguez has, but if I had enough money to retire and I got suspended until 2015 I'd tell everybody to f*ck off and die slowly and ragequit.

It could be something like ephedrine - you don't know. Maybe he "accidentally" took a preworkout or pro-hormone he legally bought at this pharm.
