All six Star Wars movies getting 3-D theatrical re-release

It was obvious after the success of Avatar this was going to happen eventually. And because its Star Wars there's going to be many fans who are willing to shell out $17-20 a ticket.

That man needs to stop ruining Star Wars. Oh wait... its too late. He already released the "upgraded" versions of the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy. OH well... now he's just beating the dead, rotten and nearly completely decomposed horse.

It fills me with indifference. If you don't like it, then don't see it. Seems simple enough. It's not like Lucas is ever going to put out more good movies anwyay.

The originals are good, but the thing is, I feel Episodes II and III are just as good.

Episode I was the only movie that wasn't all that good, but even then, on it's own merits, it wasn't a bad movie. It just doesn't hold up to the rest of the series.

It does sometime seem like, since everyone was so disappointed with Episode I, they went into parts II and III almost wanting to hate them. Like the negativity that sprouted from the first had spread on to the sequels, dooming them before they even had their fare chance.

I don't know why some of you moaning... no one is forcing you to go to the cinema. I will go see them, as I never got to see them first time round.

I would like to see the original trilogy in theaters. That would be kinda cool. I only liked episode 3 of the prequels, which i remember seeing theaters.

I recently saw Episode II for the first time since release and it's not as bad as I remembered.

Episode VI is the worst IMO, closely followed by I. Yet Episode I has the best scene of all the six movies - the duel near the end.

How can you steal money from people who willingly choose to spend it on your product? No one will be forced to see the movies when they're re-released.

Post production 3D conversion looks terrible. Not going to see them.

Jar Jar was tolerable.. See the fact of the matter he was SUPPOSE to be a comic relief.. Anakin wasn't suppose to, and ended up that way as well as a complete jackass (in a bad way) in the entire series.. Seriously if the character Anakin wasn't in the movies, it would have been a better movie lol.. I will only accept new episodes of Star Wars.. IF.. Lucas gets his claws out of the franchise and goes to back seat suggestions like he did in the original 3 movies.. Where professional directors and script writers can formulate a coherent story line from Lucas brilliant but muddled mess of a story line and dialogue.. The guy has vision no doubt, but he needs to be put on a leash.

If we could emulate proper 3d on old 2D flicks, I would see every single one in theaters.

Hell I want to see the three originals in theaters just becuase I missed the epicness. The ORIGINALS. Not the stupid ones with the extra CGI BS. I WANT MY GUYS IN RUBBER SUITS DAMNIT.
