i was in the samed boat. my family got a dog and im allergic to dogs. just go get some allergy medication, it helps wonders. i take two a day and am just fine:)

the whole point of the ending was that the damn whale freed itself, proving A) that it wanted to be free and B) that the little dude and the old dude couldn't be held accountable, because the animal did it itself. An awful movie, it has to be said.
