No, you are not. To be honest, I am as well.
Personally, while I think that is why some people believe in life after death.
Also, with that being said, I think most people are afraid of dying for same reason I am:
A) the thought of being life-form who has emotions, thoughts and memories, to being corpse in the ground who is virtually lifeless as sheet of paper is unthinkable to bare. I do not how else to say it other than that.
B) other than exception of historical figure, celebrity or something else along those lines, that one day, you will be forgotten and worst yet - nobody will even care. In sense, as lame this may sound to some folks, I think the thing I am tryign to say through this point is the age-old question of this:"what is the meaning of life?"
As far as I am concerned, while the pain will obviously not be enjoyable experience, in comparison to these other two points I have mentioned, it fails in comparison because, for my liking, the pain is something that is momentary, where as these things I have stated, in sense, last or rather, do not last, forever.
I have this weird thing while im lying on my bed late at night with the tv off, i somehow usually get to thinking about Death, and then thers this sad sinking feeling in my heart as i realize that 1 day im gonna be dead. It really really bothers me and i wish it would stop.
Does death bother any1 else?GarchomPro
I'm not afraid of dieing at all. I'm afraid of the pain that i might feel right before death but not the actual death.
