I'm 15 years old and I'm around 5'8" 5'9" and i weigh 110. I find it weird because I'm most of the time eating the only time I probably don't eat is at school the lunch there is nasty and I'm not anexeredic or however you spell it.

Gaining weight isn't that difficult. Even if you have a fast metabolism, just put loads of butter on everything. Eating 3500 calories a day will make almost anyone put on mass, even teenagers (as hard as it may be). At leased I'm blessed with a nice metabolism (not too fast or slow). I just managed to gain 7 good pounds in 3 weeks. aaaaarrrrggggg
note to TC: dont listen to this garbage. youll end up in the hospital in no time due to heart attacks
instead, goto the gym and eat high calorie foods. its better to put on muscle than massive amounts of fat right?

Im just wondering since I know many skinny people tend to wear jackets often because we feel cold. Even I do and my family constantly tells me to take it off and not wear it to school. -_-

Dude, gaining weight doesn't have to be muscle. He should have at least some fat, it's unhealthy maintain such a low percentage. That's how children with weight problems gain weight, they eat margarine-heavy foods. He has to eat a calorie-heavy diet untill he reaches 10% body fat or so, it's obvious not to keep on going like your suggesting I said. If he wants to gain muscle, fine, but he should gain some kind of weight.
There's not much you can do until your metabolism slows down. I am also very skinny. No matter how much food I eat I cannot gain weight. I workout often and it has definitely made a difference.

if you never lifted weights before, and your not exactly athletic, don't be shy or embarrassed about lifting weights or anything, you will be seriously greatful for the results later on man. i know a lot of people in highshool who didnt play sports, were just into music and art and stuff, and lifted weights to get into shape look healthy and they very proud that they took the initiative. its not about getting muscles and being a tough guy, youll get more girls and you be happier about yourself, it will boost your self confidence. sounds like your self confidence isnt that great if youre worried about being to skinny.

Yeah, I got the same problem. It's so hard for me to gain weight. I eat regularly and I work out regularly. Getting some protein helps. I'm about 5'9 and I'm 127lbs. Hopefully I'll get above 130 in the next couple of weeks if I keep taking protein. Optical_Order
no pain no gain dude. if you dont get sore your only losing water weight and wont gain anything. or maybe just get fat because your not burning the protein.

Dude I'm exactly the same way. I'm 6' 1" and 130 lbs. I just naturally have a very slim build. I might not be the strongest guy out there, but I'm perfectly healthy, agile, and athletic.

Yeah, same here. Except I'm 6ft, and at my leanest build, I'm around 150-155lbs, no more, no less.
