I believe this was posted yesterday, or an article of it anyway..
Apparently this guy's a delinquent and he makes a mockery out of everything, that attention whore deserved it :|
Based on that video it kinda looked like the police started the whole thing. Yes he shouldn't have resisted but he just asked a question and then got hauled away. It was justified to taser him but was it justified to touch him in the first place?
I'm not from America and I'm viewing that video as an isolated incident but can anyone explain how it was right for the police to escort away a guy just asking a question?
He was resisting a lot, and was repeatedly told that if he doesn't calmly comply he will be tasered.
And what does he do? Continues to resist, and then starts whining like a b**** when he finally gets tasered, what an idiot.
I guarantee if he would of just walked out calmly when the police approached him, or just calmly let them handcuff him and walk out, he would not of had 6 cops on him, and he wouldn't of gotten tasered.
He did something wrong, the cops overreacted, everybody loses.MTBare
Exactly, he went over-board and the cops went over-board. Like I said earlier, I blame the lethal weapon movies, cops always got that itch to pull out that taser or pepper spray. Sits on their belt all day, they use them the first chance they get. The guy picked the wrong spot to be dumb.
the tasering is very questionable...I have a hard time believing that they had to taser him ( I mean come on they had atleast 6+ police on him...he even says get off me)....I would have prefered they handcuffed his hands and legs then carried him out like the child he was acting
pretty simple actually: he went past the time limit, was asked nicely to leave, he made a scene, the cops intervened, he resisted and acted like a complete ass to the point where they could not restrain him, so they tasered him, i would have done the same...g-unit248yup, it was well within their rights, they were just escorting him out and he started flipping out so they took him down, don't **** with the police.
you guys do realize what those cops did was illegal, he committed no crime...Apocalypse33
Actually...he was being escorted out of the room....and he resisted. Therefore, he's responsible for what occured. They did warn him.
you guys do realize what those cops did was illegal, he committed no crime...Apocalypse33he went over his time, the hosts of the event wanted him to leave, if an owner of a pub wants you to leave and you dont the cops make sure you do, in that and this case if you resist they cuff ya and if it takes a zap to do that well thats that. his arresst had nothing to do with the questions.

Ah..yes you can. Private property means you CAN be asked to leave.

F yeah party at this guys house cause he can't do anything about!! Because I mean since the host can't ask him to leave you can't ask us to leave w00t w00t 24/7 party!!

If you want to get technical, distrubing the peace. But if you are obnoxious, the owner/operator/moderator of the property/venue has the right to ask you to leave. If you don't leave, they have the right to seek police assistance. If you refuse to leave upon officer request, they have the right to grab you and escort you out. If you resist, they have the right to subdue you. The kid was justifiably tased.

Dude was asked to leave by the folks in charge and didn't. You gotta leave when the folks ask you to. You really got to go when the cops ask you to.
A position I'd expect to hear from someone in an authoritative position - namely, being a mod on Gamespot. Being in the Q and A session is not illegal. Asking questions in the session is not illegal. Asking questions out of turn is rude, but not ILLEGAL.
The cops made a spectacle out of a non-issue, Kerry was going to answer his last question. The cops overstepped their boundaries.
But being a mod, you have to support authority. I understand.

He was clearly being a disturbance, sorry. If you knock off this "justice" crap and pay attention, this guy is a complete asshat and he was going to take it as far as it could have gone.

That is a good one ;)
Because of all the life I have lived, all my experiences, things I do, people I meet, things I have done . . . you are saying my role as a moderator on some gaming forum guides my judgment? You made that insightful judgment based on your detailed knowledge about me?
If you're asked to leave by the the folks in charge of some place, you have to leave. It is the law man. It isn't complicated Simple as that. Folks can argue about how the cops handled it, if they went crazy or not, dude still is required to leave when he was told to.
That guy wanted all the attention he could possibly get. He made such a scandal I'm surprised the cops didn't tase him some more. I would've, but I suppose you have to be careful being a cop in a University that's probably full of hateful bloggers :p
In any case, I haven't laughed this hard in a while.
"Don't tase me bro!"
I find it funny that they tazered that kid. While I was in Austin we had to drive by the capitol building. The first day there was a man holding a sign that said "F*** BUSH" , and no1 did anything. The second day the same guy was there with others holding signs that said "9/11 was an inside job" and again proceded to stand there all day.Smoke89
That's free speech, you aren't hurting anyone by what you're saying and the people who are disagreeing with you can't do anything :D

I still find it sick that some1 would procede to put up signs saying 9/11 was done to ourselves.
