Pretty much. And where'd the rape thing come from? Was it often that masters would rape their slaves? I don't recall seeing that anywhere.

It's an interesting question? Why is it garbage ?

True, All "free" countries have barbaric past, I chose USA as it is the most recent ...

This is a question, not an attack?

Seems like an attack. That'd be like calling this phrase sincere:

Can Barack Hussein Obama, supposed Muslim, friend with a former terrorist, America hater, be president of the United States?

Rape can have different meanings ...

raped, rap·ing, rapes2. To seize and carry off by force. 3. To plunder or pillage

What's the first definition, though? I'm guessing it has something to do with unwanted sex, and that's the definition most people use.

Actually, it is a lot like that statement: I'm taking many common facts and using them to thinly attack somebody who is very well liked (generally).

If you had read more you would have understood that there was nothing unusual about that phrase ...

A simple case of the dictionary will help you out

America has a dark history...true. But I'm not so sure if that has got anything to do with how they choose to run their country. Granted, the American party system is extremely undemocratic, but it's certainly not because of what you listed.

There is no such thing as true democracy. Democracy is an illusion to control the weaker by making them think they have power.

The more money that they make
the more money that they make
the better and better they live
whatever they wanna take
whatever they wanna take
whatever whatever it is
the more that you wanna learn
the more that you try to learn
the better and better it gets

Considering that a very large amount of Americans today are descendants of immigrants--who came AFTER the first colonists--, I think that it is possible.:|

Actually, there were huge opporunities for the people in the beginning....mainly because the land was "untouched" and he government wasn't as developed as it is today.

Pretty much. And where'd the rape thing come from? Was it often that masters would rape their slaves? I don't recall seeing that anywhere.

Video_Game_King

As a matter of fact, it was more often than most people think.

"Is it possible for a class which exterminates the native people of the Americas, replaces then by raping Africa for humans it the denigrates and dehumanizes as slaves, while cheapening and degrading it's own working class - is it possible for such a class to create a democracy, equality and to advance the cause of human freedom?"

A question asked in the Evergreen conference in 1987 by Daniel Singer ...

Interesting question ... your thoughts ?

ThePartisan

My thoughts?

Of course it's possible; that's a rather dumb question when you think about it.

looks like yes so far

and really most european countrys have done far worse things. USA history is preaty good and overall nice if we compare it to something like the history of Italy, history of Germany, Britain, France, Austria, Spain etc etc etc but then again your history is quite short compared to others
