theres some british comics and shows i love/loved but theres probly more american ones a good example is Shameless, i watched every episode of it on showtime and loved it ( early on in the show i found out it was a US "remake" of a British show ) when i saw a original episode of it on IFC when flipping channels i decided to check it out and i just couldnt take it i dont know if they really count as british humor but some of my favorite movies are based on Brit's, such as Formula 51, Snatch, Layer Cake, Rock N Rolla, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

UK humor seems to be either really funny, or really horrible. Fawlty Towers is probably the single greatest sitcom ever made, but then there's vile trash like Benny Hill and Little Britain. Oh yeah, Mr. Bean sucks too.

Both are pretty good. Although what passes as humor lately in the U.S. is pretty stupid if you ask me.
