  Actually it's Not. It might LOOK LAME, but who cares? Patrol isn't a fashion show. You don't have to shove the car up another driver's ass because there is no where he or she can go. Nothing they can do but stop and surrender or run out of fuel and try to flee on foot.

  You have to remember that the people who chose these vehicles wanted something manuerable, effective and LOW PROFILE, not something flashy, excessive and unnecessary.

  I don't know about the rest of the world but here you go through a maneuverability and pursuit coarse, not Indy 500 training. And if you can't safely drive drive a tank with a supercharged engine there is no reason to have it. I assure you just because they have it doesn't mean they can drive good with it.

  Putting preasure on a fleeing driver causing them to drive more erratically, so going bumper to bumper does more damage than good. Road blocks, spikes and running down his or her fuel tank is the safest way. If it's really necessary just wait till you hit a clearing then have your partner blow off his tire with the shotgun. At those speed it will only be a matter of minutes until the driver swerves and flips the car.

  What are you trying to prove? The driver can't escape. Anywhere he goes you can follow and so can the helos. The driver only has so much gas and every COP knows where he is headed so they will be there before he gets there.
