Soulja Boy Tell`em - Donk
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Soulja boy is a rapper in America. Show me someone that is just as bad as him elsewhere. American teens are what make Soulja boy so successful, thus making America part of this.
So perhaps change your argument to "American mainstream 'rap' has sunk to a new low" and you may have a point people can agree with.Soulja boy is a rapper in America. My sporadic curiosity kept me compelled to watch the whole video. I win nightmare mode : D

Soulja Boy doesn't represent America. He's one individual.:|LJS9502_basicBut that one individual has pulled in an enormous crowd of teens which have brainwashed themselves thinking they can be like Soulja boy.
Individuals can in fact represent a country.... Not to that degree and not an entertainer. No way. For example....the president is a representative of the country for political issues. He does not, however, represent all Americans vis a vis there interests, opinions, values etc. Otherwise we'd only have one candidate ever. In other words...his position is representative. The individual not.My sporadic curiosity kept me compelled to watch the whole video. I win nightmare mode : D

The world isn't really looking at every single US politician and their different views, they look at Obama instead and well he's still an individual, he is not just entity "president".
And I see the title was changed to my convenience :P
Did he put parts of the song on repeat? horgen123The whole song is a loop, silly, one loop of..I don't know.
[QUOTE="Dystopian-X"]I didn't listen to the whole song... Got tired of repeating after 45 seconds. why would you even listen to it for more than 10 seconds? only the MTV generation would like that kind of **** music :PThe whole song is a loop, silly, one loop of..I don't know.

that says your wrong. (I am english) but your video does show that rap has not got alot to look forward too. Soulja boy successful is a good song though.

It's impossible. He's a figurehead for the country. That is not the same thing. Otherwise, you are inferring that ALL Americans agreed with Bush's decision to invade Iraq. We know that is not true....[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] Not to that degree and not an entertainer. No way. For example....the president is a representative of the country for political issues. But the Iraq War is still labeled as an US conflict, not just "Bush vs Iraq" And Idon't think those on the other side really thought much about the other points of views when they were being raided.....

You're not getting the point. It doesn't mean it was a conflict as you call it.....that was accepted by all Americans. It was not. In fact, the way he got other politicians in line was with inaccurate intell. Doesn't sound like his opinion was held by Americans en mass. There is, and can be, no ONE person to represent a group. That is were generalizations and stereotypes come into play. In fact, politicians are less representative of typical Americans in that they are wealthy and have connections. How many Americans can claim fit that criteria? But hey, if generalizing and stereotyping people due to the group they are put into, be it location, ethnicity, etc.....then there is nothing I can say to change your opinion.
I didn´t mean Bloodhound Gang. oh talk about a swing and amiss on my partI mean bloodhounds: *picture* you know, the fact she can... Eh.
You know what, nevermind i´m not venturing any deeper into this.BiancaDK

Who cares about rap anyhow....best music was from 60's - 90's, best rap was from 80's and 90's

Oh I do. You are explaining how it should be, and I agree with you 99% but that's not how it's seen by most ppl by the world on many different situations and when it comes to representing something to others, I believe what those others think is important ;p
I'll rap this up now Mr. LJ since I just realized I'm discussing politics on a Soulja boi thread, listening to some female talking about smelling **** and haven't slept in more than 24hrs : D
