I usually have a pint of Bud in the pub. It's cheap and it's very refreshing when ice cold. Then i went to America and holy hell no wonder you guys drink 10+ beers in a sitting. Pepsi is stronger than American beer. Ninja-Hippo
State alcohol laws. You must have had 3.2 beer.
That's why I liked Red Horse so much when I was in the Philippines. Perfect logo too, a pair of horseshoes, drink one and you feel like you've been kicked by a horse.
Of sorts, only Lays are a lot better and they aren't as bad as Walkers with their green, see through and burnt idea of crisps. Lays always seem to be in amazing condition and actually edible, unlike Walkers. I've only ever had the plain, which I love, would love to try the salt and vinegar, tomato and beef flavours if they ever appear over here.Wait, you have BEEF flavored chips where you are? :o Aye, my favourite is Monster Munch, although the Braningtons aren't bad, strong flavour. Quite fond of beef flavour crisps along with spicy, salt and vinegar and tomato.[QUOTE="Smokescreened84"][QUOTE="toast_burner"]Aren't lays the same as walkers just with less variety of flavours?

What the US calls 'Potato Chips', we call them crisps. And what you call 'Fries', we call chips. I like salt and vinegar, but it has to be of a particular strength. If the flavour is too strong then it makes me sick. It has to be mild.
Wait, you have BEEF flavored chips where you are? :oWait you DON'T have beef flavoured crisps where you are? I knew a lot of places don't have prawn and cocktail, but beef seems rather standard (although I'd say the same for prawn and cocktail) I cannot fathom a society that does not have beef flavoured crisps/chips. This has been a standard keynote of civilisation for generations. What the hell do they eat with their beer?[QUOTE="Pirate700"]

Depends upon the state. Keep in mind that JD is made in a completely dry county, they can't even sell it there.

All this talk of crisps has me fancying a bag now. We get pretty small bags here in general, none of the larger US sizes. The larger US sizes tend to be in super markets for the majority. I would love a bag of Lays right now...and I can't!Yeah I know. But I'm American so I'm going with our words.:P Snyder's I like. They call them British style or some such....not so mild though.

Does Florida have lame beer laws? I remember their beer was particularly weak. I also remember walking into a 7/11 after a 16 hour flight and a nine hour drive straight, shuffling over to the freezers only to find it locked up with a chain and a padlock. "What's up with the beer fridge?" "We don't sell beer on sundays." I THOUGHT THIS WAS AMERICA!? Ninja-HippoYou can't buy beer on Sundays in a lot of states.
