I'll be honest all religion (baring hindu and budisim) have extremeist elements to it. Where one person see's whatever the passage of their holy books and see's it as a message of peace or tollerance, others will see it as a call to arms to kill, wound etc to people.

Just a shame that this sort of stuff would happen in the united states.

Did anybody actually read the article? It's a 5 year old case and it sounds like both the guys got in a very heated argument and went for their guns.

This wasn't an atheist killing a Christian, this was one mentally unstable person attacking another for some arbitrary reason they said after the fact. Who knows the full story. That article wasn't really informative.

Havent read the article, but I strongly suspect the guy was killed for other reasons. Likely a domestic dispute gone wrong or something along those lines. He probably just happened to be an atheist. But honestly, do you even know what faith your fellow neighbors are? I have no clue about mine.

GameSpot has become so horrible WTF, people keep attacking eachothers on these kind of forums and there's no one doing anything about it...I bet they're not even paying attention.
