Top Gear. I'm also a fan of The IT Crowd.

The only person to make sense in this whole thread :P

I have actually watched that a few times I never heard of any of the other shows in the poll.

I popped back to the UK for Christmas - it seems TV has taken a turn for the worse in my 3 year absence. At a push though, I'll vote for Hi-De-Hi

Morning campers!

Wonderful stuff.

as a brit id say comedies by and large although for every good one (say the inbetweeners) we get several awful ones (little britian, miranda, gavin and stacey) the soaps are terrible, most dramas are terrible and quiz shows are a waste of time, the biggest problem we have is flogging the dead donkey

but what i would say is no one can touch the bbc for wildlife documentaries, animal planet, NG, discovery whatever you like, not in the same league as planet earth, life etc

Top Gear! But that is because I love cars and it's always entertaining to watch.

The IT Crowd, Top Gear, Red Dwarf, Monty Python. Those are the greatest four things to ever come from the Brits outside of music, and they're not even in your pole!

The office or The inbetweeners, first two series of skins where good as well. i really dont understand why americans have to remake them, whats wrong with just showing the british version?play_thegame

Because we can't understand your silly accents.

Forreal though, my guess is that shows are just more relateable when the people sound and look like you, or what you're used to.

I'm just dreading the American version of Peep Show. Who really knows what goes on inside the head of an American male?

I think my typo has caused us to stumble upon the greatest idea of all time. Stripper poles that double as televisions.

I just noticed I had a typo in my reply. That d should be a t.

I am not much of an inventor though. We would need to develop a special pole that can allow for a special screen to be inserted into it to be able to watch it without distortion. Hmmmmmm.
