[QUOTE="Overlord93"] The OP, which is from an australian sattire TV show. The guy who originaly responded to you was also referring to OP, since you posted as a reply a video about the british. He as I assumed you had mistaken OP for being british and posted a comeback.LonelynightI'm not British, and I'm not even American, I'm just trying to say that a video can't prove that a nation of people are stupid. Exactly. Saying that is like saying all British people absolutely love tea and crumpets.

After awhile it just seemed like they told the people what to say.
Q. "How many world wars were there?"
A. and this guy was an old man "Three."
Q. "Was Star Wars based on a true story?"
A. "Yes."
Some of that stuff is common sense that people should know. Some of it isn't. Coalition of the willing? No idea what that is.
But seriously, foreign countries probably know the same about us as we do about them.
This. American stupidity is just a steryotype and obviously they edited out the good answers.Stupidity is not restricted by nationality.

[QUOTE="svenus97"][QUOTE="Overlord93"]Which ones you can't answer? :P I'm not going to say to avoid forever being labelled a muppet I'll just have to assume you couldn't answer any of them. :Phahaha, they are so stupid :|
*can't answer them all myself*

[QUOTE="Nerd_Man"]I agree, it accurately portrays the vast majority of Americans and how superior other Education systems are. Yeah world history is more important than being a rocket scientist, microchip maker, pioneer in technology etc. they beat us in worldwide history but we beat them in everything else. What a golden portrayal of Americans that video is.
Snipes_2
We probably will invent faster than light speed travel while they remember to say each country alphabeticly.

It's impossible for anything with mass to go the same speed or faster than light...

No its not.This. Still doesn't make the video any less funnier.1. There are ignorant people everywhere. This "stupid American" stereotype is total ********. You go anywhere else and you'll get similiar (if not worse) results.
2. They obviously edited the "informed" answers out.

Wonder how much time the reporter spent asking these questions.... I could go to England and find a group of people who don't know who the President of the US is, who is in the Iraq war etc.
I don't think the world can forgive you guys for electing Bush twice.Good-ApolloWell when you look at who us democrats had selected you understand why....
And Bush first term was well recieved, Bush term 2 was BAD
It's a sterotype.
It's not hard to go around giving people questions to stupid people and gathering them all to make one vid. You'd also find a lot of literate people but you'd have to cut them to make a vid like this.

No its not. yes it is quite impossible. unless, I understand now, you move space around the ship. futurama reference. but in all seriousness, faster than light travel will never existI was in a hostel with two americans a month ago, one of them mentioned before that he was an engineer. During the next day, they argued with the hostel manager who barely spoke english about the currency exchange rate. The conversation went something like this.
American 1 : What is the euro to kuna exchange rate in the hostel
Manager : uhh, 7.2 kuna to euro
American 1 : Why are you charging such a large tax on it
Manager : ... it always 7.2 kuna for long time
American 2 : We got 6 kunas for a euro at the airport
Manager : ? it is 7 kunas
American 1 : Well we're not exchanging money here, do you know any places nearby
Manager : uhh
At that point American 2, the engineer, realized how horribly retarded the conversation fell out and came out with "Wait, don't we want more kunas for one euro". Yes. Yes, you do.
This puts my personal stupid rating at 2/5 americans I've met. On the other hand, the first three were from Berkeley and would thus probably qualify as smart, but this is not an overall contest.

OK, I'll start by saying I have absolutely no geographical knowledge at all(outside of the continents and the USA). And history is irrelevant(to me) so its not completely impossible that I could be in that video unaware of some proper country placement or unable to point out a country on the map. Does it effect my daily life in any way, shape, or form? No! Ask me a question about math, science, technology etc. then you'll see me shine!Princess_LimeWhen you have a buisiness meating with a japanese buisinessman. And you ask him what a 'japan' is. well. lets just say it won't get you a bonus

My point is the are you smarter than a 5th grader! 4.0 college graduates with successful careers can't do 2nd grade history. Other than losing a game show they're lives are unaffected.

They have those videos forother countries aswell, United States is obviously going to get the most attention though...
I knew all the answers except the axis of evil, whatever that is, and my geogrpahy isn't so good but that was Australia not Korea or whatever they mislabeled. And the people could have been nervous because of the camera and whatnotAgent-ZeroYou don't know what the axis is? Thats World war II enemy forces(italy, germany, japan....)

[QUOTE="Overlord93"]Its very different to that, It is physically impossible, whilst flight has been known and attempted for thousands of years Its only physically impossible with our current technology. Advances may change that. No, it's physically impossible full stop. We know from the theory of relativity that no object can travel as fast as light. It's not simply a matter of engine power or whatever; it's an impossibility, both theoretically and practically.[QUOTE="jeremiah06"] Just like flight will never exist or space travel...
