No, I don't know.

I really don't know the leaders of many countries. I don't see why I need to.

I wonder if the TC knows who the leader of Brazil is, or Columbia, Or even Afghanistan for that matter. All of these countries are important to Canada.

Seriously your not proving anything by trying to show Americans are ignorant or anything like that, get off your high horse.

I lol'd, Canada's PM (not sure who it was at the time) tried to pull that card at a NAFTA talk. Bush just laughed it off.

How about you tell me why I should care? Is the Canadian prime minister involved with any serious world affairs like the USA is? Does the minister involved with any serious USA business? I think not. We're in a 2 damn wars and an economic crisis. The Canadian prime minister is the last person I should be caring about right now.

We are fighting in Afganistan and we are in an economic crisis just like the rest of the planet so it's not just the U.S. that is doing important things.

For compensation. Not for free. So the who is not that important. Besides, you need the US as well. If you did not have the US as an ally and neighbor you would have to spend more on your military. Reciprocity.;)

Canada doesn't need America defending us...We have 75,000 combat ready troops. Point is America would dramatically fall economy wise if it wasn't for Canada.

75,000 combat troops is infantismal. America's economy would certainly not fail if Canada wasn't in the picture. If the middle east wasn't it would, if China wasn't it would. Canada?

I didn't have any idea who it was until I read this thread. As far as I know, the election wasn't really publicised here in America.

Yes, but we still do the most harvesting right now....So that means America needs us to survive. Unless America builds a ton of harvesting plants.

It wouldn't take long to maximize those industries...and it's not like we rely solely on Canada for our oil. Sorry dude....but those two examples wouldn't cause the US economy to fail. Any other ideas?

Edit: 75,000 troops is a small amount dude.

America definitely doesn't need Canada's wood to survive

As per oil, America has an insane amount of oil it has been stockpiling for years. It has miles of oilfields untapped. Tons of offshore oil deposits to tap into as well. The absence of Canada's oil would make oil just a tad more expensive here.

Give it up dude, America doesn't rely on Canada anymore than it relies on France, Spain, etc.

It may not destroy America completely, but it will still hurt America alot. Let's see America try to defeat 75,000 troops. I know for a fact that America defiantly relies on Canada for wood. Have you seen Canada's landscape?

What is the point of this? Just because everyone keeps up with and cares so much about America and her politics, doesn't mean I should know everything about everyone elses country. Stop trying to make Americans look ignorant, you're just making Canadians look hateful and jealous.

Also  at your "let's see America defeat 75k troops". There wouldn't even be a contest.
