[QUOTE="Vilot_Hero"] Yes, but we still do the most harvesting right now....So that means America needs us to survive. Unless America builds a ton of harvesting plants.Vilot_Hero

It wouldn't take long to maximize those industries...and it's not like we rely solely on Canada for our oil. Sorry dude....but those two examples wouldn't cause the US economy to fail. Any other ideas?

Edit: 75,000 troops is tiny.

Let's see America try to defeat 75,000 troops.

It may not destroy America completely, but it will still hurt America alot. Let's see America try to defeat 75,000 troops. I know for a fact that America defiantly relies on Canada for wood. Have you seen Canada's landscape?Vilot_Hero
Have you see the forested areas in the US? We have over a million active duty troops...not counting reserves and guard. Still think 75,000 is a lot?

Again.....while it's nice doing business with Canada...the lack of such business woudn't hurt us.

The wood in America pales in comparison with Canada.....I don't know if you have been in Canada, but we have the finest wood around along with a huge supply of it.

i agree 75 000 isn't alot. But Canada is the US' number one country that they trade the most with. I think it would have an impact on the US. Yes the probably could fix it in the end by tradining with other countries, but by doing so it will make your products increase in price and you dont want that do you?

Since your troops argument failed so hard, you're sticking with the "we'll die without your wood" argument now, eh?

Vilot_Hero

The wood is not that different between the two countries due to man's arbitrary line for nations.

Yes I am. That has nothing to do with this. If I was Canadian I'd argue the same. I use facts.

We have a bigger supply of wood than America. While America could recover if we didn't trade, prices would increase for a long time.

EDIT: I use facts too. Why would I make stuff up as I go along?

Your best argument for America's dependence on Canada is wood prices would increase?

I didn't have any idea who it was until I read this thread. As far as I know, the election wasn't really publicised here in America.

this thread delivers! at least a good laugh before i get some sleep!

btw, norway got like 20 000 combat ready troops or so, and well.... their single job is to halt an invasion till the US can come to our aid. 75 000 aint anything considering the big picture.

also, wood? WOOD?! haha, "you treat us with respect, or we will stop selling you wood! NEHEHEHEH!" this totally made my day! starting to think the TC is an american making fun of Canada! :D
