There are a lot of wacky things that few people have said but didn't have the magnitude of curiosity or publicity that the NAU had. I don't see any gain either, although I'm not seeing any gain in our border protection either, and look at it now. Just goes to show the American government would do something that wouldn't benefit whatsoever.
