Talk about milking.

Uhh...Futurama? That sounds like a fine name. Though I believe it's already taken by the 1939 New York World's Fair.[QUOTE="Engrish_Major"]I've always hoped for a spin-off instead. Perhaps one of a modern-day simpleton that is magically transported to 1000 years in the future. Or a crime drama with Chief Wiggum that takes place in New Orleans.Pirate700
Well enough to warrant it staying on the air. Even once it finally finishes its run, the money it makes in syndication alone will keep Fox's coffers in the black for a VERY long time.Seriously. how is Simpson's even doing rating wise?

I love the Simpsons, but that seems like it would die pretty quickly... I would rather just watch the older episodes online.

after the 90's the simpsons has never been worth a watch imo, i can still randomly quote older episodes on the fly tho. "the shining? no the shinning!"
Why would they even do that? The Simpsons Movie was the last good piece of Simpsons-related media; there's no need for the show to even exist at this point, much less having a whole channel dedicated to it.

[QUOTE="Hallenbeck77"]It's going to be a mid-season replacement on Fox sometime next year, and it features the entire cast reprising their roles. In all honesty, they should've done this while the movie was still relevant, not seven years after it's been released. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua17k1tidREMushroomWigHas it really been 7 years? Wow. The movie didn't even have a sequel yet they think an entire TV show will work?
The movie came out in 2007. I'm pretty sure that's not 7 years.

So...if the Simpsons airs for 24 hours a day 7 days a week, how long would it be before they went through the entire series and ended up back at episode 1? This sounds like a terrible idea. But you know what? I'd probably put it on at night when I want to watch soething to go to sleep to.NuclearNerdIt would take about a week and a half if they played them all, lol.

I'm glad someone else picked that up.
It's already dead. Jumped the shark quite a couple times.DgalmunYep.
If it means they'll actually run the older, far superior episodes, I have no reason to be opposed to it.
Funny, he was just at my school today speaking about his life.Seriosuly, can this show just die already?! Jesus it's like Kurt Douglas, it just wont die!
