Most people don't care about random people that die. But most people will care if their pets die. I find this quite normal.
And nothing of value was lost as that animal was turned into an 8 piece at popeyes/KFC with a side of fries and 2 liter beverage. Oh uh, cry cry and stuff the animals.PresidentKing
While I obviously value human life far more than animal life, I find this type of arrogant attitude disgusting. Animals deserve respect. Just because we're at the top of the food chain it doesn't mean we have the right to treat animals like dirt.
I honestly believe that centuries from now people will look at us and say "look how barbaric people were in the early 2000s, how they treated animals and the fact they actually had to kill animals for food. LOL how primitive", kinda of like what we think about common practices from 500 years ago.
yeah its pretty sad, but its important at the same time. If I have kids, I'm getting a pet ASAP and hopefully it will die before anyone they know (persons, I mean) does.
*hmmm that came out wrong. Hopefully you guys will understand what I mean. Don't want the pet to die, but its an important lesson in life and death for young people, without the more practical repercussions that a human loss has.
