Ghost in the Shell.

Just a guick question. What dont you like about Naruto Shippuuden ? Im talking about the japanese sub titled episodes btw and not american dubbed versions. The Japanese versions actually are quite excellent and dont sound as annoying as the American versions.

Baccano! - easily my favorite anime.

Welcome to the NHK! - one of the most hilarious anime I've seen.

Durarara - By the same author and studio that did Baccano! Tougher to get into I think but another great anime.

Planetes - Pretty much a anime sitcom about trash men...in space! Funny as often as it is thought provoking. Key thing is character development with this one.

Gungrave - First episode makes it seem like just another science fiction anime but at least wait until the second episode before you judge this one. Probably the best mob story in anime.

Paranoia Agent - Like this one just because of how creepy and bizarre it is.

Ongoing: Fairy Tail.

Complete: The Third, The Girl with the Blue eye

I'm curious to why you dislike "all mech anime", I have seen people in the past say this before but I mostly have never seen why.

I am currently looking for a new anime, perferably ongoing. anime that i like are as listed. starting from favorite: yu yu hakashu, samurai champloo, cowboy bebop, one piece, hunter x hunter (2011), fairy tail, elfen lied, fooly cooly, full metal alchemist brotherhood, wolfs rain, reign the conquerer, and inyuasha (both series), bobobo bo bobobo. anime i dont like: (gintama, naruto, bleach, all mech anime) so any suggestions? frannkzappa

Not that I won't watch a show if either are in it, it just is something I basically dislike and makes me much harder on giving the show a chance in the first place.

If you like Inuyasha, you might like Ranma 1/2. Excel Saga is a good choice if you like Bobobo Bo Bobobo. And Outlaw Star is a must if you like Cowboy Bebop.

Also, Rurouni Kenshin is great up to the 3rd season, and the related OVAs (Samurai X series) are fantastic as well.

And Outlaw Star is a must if you like Cowboy Bebop.

Shana season 1 was pretty decent too, the second and third kinda suck though.

Last Exile is a pretty good series, it only ran for a season but was good. There is another series called Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing but I haven't watched it yet.
