Yeah it's pretty ridiculous - I prefer the English dubs so I watched episodes 1-4 in English. I've now been waiting almost 4 years for the next episode -.-

I watched the subbed version but it just wasn't the same; Crispin Freeman dominates.

For me, mechs fighting is the definition of boring. I just can't stand it.PS2_ROCKS

Why? A good amount of the time it's not too different from normal fighting in anime, expect it's better.

'Cause they hate the look of mechs? I certainly do, it's like having little kids in a show, makes me want to punch a kitten. I'd be fine with them if they weren't the dumb humanoid crap (more like hawken)

Not that I won't watch a show if either are in it, it just is something I basically dislike and makes me much harder on giving the show a chance in the first place.

Inconsistancy

Hawken has humanoid mecha, and there's nothing wrong with that type of mecha. I would certainly want a mecha show to have humanoid mecha over some sort of tank with a torso.

G Gundam, there are other ones besides that one too. Some of the first mecha anime had "female" mecha in them.

Neon Genesis Evangelion. Watching it now and loving it. Gunslinger as well (More of a mafia/ criminal underworld style anime
