I like Tool, but I'm skeptical about playing them at party's. because every song they do can be offensive to anyone in the party. Like Sober is the best example. Also, Intolerance (if anyone was in the military), 4 Degrees (if anyone had an abortion) Stinkfist (if anyone has been raped) The Pot (if anyone is political) Prison Sex (if anyone has been abused as a child) What should I do?

At a drinking party, you want to play anti-drinking songs? You know people want to get drunk right? Also, im my experience, metal doesn't do well at parties. :(

Hooker With A Penis isn't actually about that. It's about people saying Tool sold out after they released their first album so that wouldn't be offensive.

Tool at a party? yeah, I wouldn't be worried about the lyrics. More so about the actual music.

Go for a Soda - Kim Mitchell. It's odd really because this song makes won't to pound a few back.

People won't be able to tell, when they are at a party they don't sit there analysing the lyrics of songs. "He bro, pass me a brewsky... wait a minute this song is insensitive to me drinking alcohol!!".

Sean, YOu might get moderated for using Gay in that sentence, just giving you a heads up :)

I wouldn't worry about it, they're at a party, YOUR Party. If they're offended BY A SONG, that's kind of sad. It's just the lyricists take on things, doesn't make it true.

If you're playing tool at the party you might as well play some Miley Cirus.
