...What's so weird about a country having emos? Just because the country is stereryotyped as a country of fat people with funny hats doesn't mean it actually IS like that. You don't have to be of a certain country to be emo. Anyone can be emo. I thought GameSpot didn't have members who go "lol afghan christians xD", but I guess I was wrong.

I think the only way we can help emos is if we built them a huge mothership and send them off to another planet, this will be known as "Homeworld: The Great Emo Exodus".

Pop-culture emo (weird anime hair and black makeup on men with depressing music) is nothing to be rioting about.

Real emo (the slitting of wrists and chronic depression) is a mental imbalance and should rightly be treated.

This article shows me that there is really something wrong with the world, I dont like emos much but masses of crowds beating them is just odd and brutal, is this the dark ages?

Wow, all the people saying, "I didnt know Mexico had emos," and "There's emos in Mexico?" have just made me realize how ignorant Gamespot is.

As for the situation in the south, being of the Mexican ethnicity, it makes me sad to see the violence errupting over such a stupid subject.
