I think my collection is up to 36 but most of mine are films that have alot of SFX like Avatar and 2012 and most comic book movies from Batman Begins and Iron Man up. May add The Rocketeer soon though.
i have a decent DVD collection and about 15 Blu-Ray's. i mostly own a lot of 360 games, a few PS3 games, some SNES and NES games. i also have a small collection of Dreamcast games.
Only about 7 so far. All the original Star Trek movies, and the most recent Star Trek movie. No rush though because they're extremely expensive, and I can watch them on Amazon Prime. But I want physical copies though because I don't know how long Amazon Prime will have them available for unlimited streaming. I'm waiting on Star Trek: TNG and DS9 to come to blu-ray. I don't think I'll bother with Voyager and Enterprise unless I'm going for a complete collection (didn't care for those series). But right now I don't think any of the Star Trek series are on Blu-ray yet, except for the original series. TNG is the one I want most. Would also love DS9. Thinking about Babylon 5, but I've heard there's never going to be a blu-ray version, so maybe the DVD set some day. Other than that, not much else. I don't watch movies much. I got tired of most of the stuff in the theaters during the late 90s. Just got boring.
At last count when I was adding to my film collection spreadsheet (before Christmas) I was over 650 Blu-Rays. And I own every Criterion release on Blu-Ray...pre-order soon as they're announced, & Amazon ships the day they're released. Very eagerly awaiting La Haine in May.
The only ones I have at the moment are The Lion King & The Lady & The Tramp probably will get The Lion King 2 and The Lion King 1 1/2 as well. when they come out.
It's only around fifty or so. I'll go for the Blu-Ray unless it just hasn't been released yet on the format yet (like Brick). I have many more films that I want to add but that's kind of hard with basically no income.
