He has destroyed Hilary in the last few primary's. I believe she is about to concede. So do you really think that John McCain stands a chance against Obama?
It's an up hill battle for McCain, but to count him out is utterly ridiculous. The Republican party is a powerful thing. If McCain can get the hardcore conservatives to turn out and vote, he'll win. He has a much better independent and liberal appeal than Bush ever did, and Bush won two straight elections.

I hope McCain has a chance. Im a conservative and I support him. But people will not put a republican in office for another 4 years
I'm pulling for McCain as well, and I do think he has a legitimate chance. (I personally don't like either candidate though) It will all come down to the debates and how each candidate appears to the American people. The election will be close.
Beating Hilary is not that hard. I think McCain is a very good candidate, and is VERY bi-partisan all the while maintaining his principles. I think Obama is kinda polarizing because he's VERY VERY liberal.
