Im a full time smoker. Have been since the age of 13, Im 18 now and its nice to legally smoke tobacco products now. I find that I smoke the most when im at my computer. Everybody has their habits, I don't think that Im a bad person for smoking cigarettes. I keep my teeth brushed, I just smell like a tobacco plant. Which of you other gamers enjoy smoking? What is the time you find yourself smoking the most? Oh, the non smokers that like to bash those who do, Please keep it to yourself. I wouldn't bash you for your habits.

I quit a few months back, and now only smoke a cig or two when I drink. Glad I quit though... too expensive, even though I went to the Pima Rez to buy my smokes...

Honestly I feel that the whole cancer thing is a valid argument, It is very possible that I could get cancer from smoking. But its a decision I made a long time ago, and to be quite honest im not too happy about it now. Thanks for your concern.

yeah the whole "hope you don't get cancer" thing is played out... I was well aware of the health risk and didn't care. I quit for financial reasons.

I've tried cigarettes, but I'm definitely not a smoker. I tried my first cigarette at age 15 and smoked every once in a while with friends (often while drinking). However, I turned 18 six months ago, and I've yet to buy my own pack...or smoke since then. I honestly think I just liked the excitement of doing something illegal.

I've been smoking since I was 12. I'm turning 19 in March, which will finally allow me to purchase smokes at the store. At the moment, I get a carton of natives for 25$. It's a rip off, but, I can't complain. I do love me my cigarettes.

I picked it up again around Christmas. I'm a moody git while I'm quitting, but it's an expensive and pointless habit so I suppose people around me are just going to have to put up with my grogginess for a bit.

I smoke hookah on occasion, and I've tried a bit of cigars. Pretty sure I'll never touch cigarettes though.

What I don't get is when people say "nah I don't smoke, it's bad, but I occasionally have a cigar". I'm sure there is a difference in the two products (I will admit to not knowing much about cigars) but why not just do the two?

I live in Canada. I should also point out, I smoke a lot. When I'm at work, I usually go at least once or twice for a smoke. At home, I smoke about one every 45 minutes, sometimes more, sometimes less?

I smoked on and off until I was like 19 or so. Now I don't really smoke just cloves and cigars when I am drinking really. And btw TC not to bash or anything but you smell like more than a tobacco leaf, you smell like the nicotine, tar and all that other icky stuff in the cigarette.

Beats the pants off paying 65$ or whatever it is for a carton of Belmonts.

I do most of my smoking at work since i'm driving 75% of the time. I started when i was 15 and i'm 28 now. Strictly Camel Filter for me (canadian), but i can't wait to travel through the US next sept and taste a plethora of fine tobacco. Canadian smokes taste like cardboard. As for the Cancer and such, i could care less, I honestly don't see the point of why I need to live past 70????

Pretty much the same here. I used to smoke all the time up until last summer. I smoked while playing games, while on the computer, after meals, and just about every chance I could get. The only time I smoke now is when I have a few drinks on the weekends, and I don't push it past a few cigs or a cigar. And TC, I agree. It used to really get on my nerves when people would mention how bad it was for my health, etc. Everyone has their vices, and we are all dying some way or another as the days go by. Granted smoking is bad for your health, it is your choice to do so and not anyone else's.

I'm 32 now, so I guess I'e smoked for around 19 years. I haven't smoked one particular brand the whole time, but right now I smoke Camels. I would smoke Marlboros if I could get them here in Canada. I can also honestly say I have no intention of quitting. I am fully aware of the health risks, yet despite this I choose to smoke anyway. I like to smoke, and I do what I like.

Think I'll light a Camel right now.

smoker and proud here! Been smoking for 5 years now- Mayfair mostly. I tend to smoke one every two hours now; I blame my friend for this! I used to be a 5er a day, but that's gone right out the window. My bank isn't happy with my habit. But hey! At least I'm giving extra money to the government, unlike those dirty non-smokers :p

I've been smoking since 1986 and somehow survived until now. I can go through 2-3 packs a day pretty easy (especially when drinking) and presently smoke Parliament light 100's. Waiting for some parts for my e-cig to come in and going to give quitting another try....even though I really am "joined at the hip" with the habit. Its going to be a ***** to quit.

25 for a carton is not a rip off, unless you're talking about you ripping the store off.

I've been smoking since I was 11. I'm 29 now. I run Heavy Equiptment at work so I smoke and smoke and smoke..... I don't smoke in my house anymore, almost been a year.

If I'm drinking and I can smoke where I am, I'm gonna need 2 packs because it's just one after the other.

I do miss smoking while I'm playing video games. However, it's helped me not get so many stupid deaths in online games because I'm not rubbing the smoke out of my eyes.! :P

Wait a second here.. as a non smoker I'm not allowed to tell you that smoking is stupid? While you're allowed to tell me how awesome smoking is and why people should have pride in smoking? This is hardly a fair topic. IF I see somebody engaging in a behavior I find offensive.. or unnecessary. I will tell them so.. Especially if they want to act like it's the best thing in the world. IF you want to smoke fine.. I get it.. but what I don't get is why you have to talk about it and act like it's great. IT reminds me of the whole fat pride thing.. Because I don't want to live a healthy life style I'll embrace the fact I have bad habits. Doesn't make sense to me.

IT really boggles my mind why people only want one sided conversations about something. OH, lets talk about smoking.. but you're not allowed to talk about the negatives. Seriously?

In OT we can discuss the positive and negitives about any topic. However, The TC simply didn't want to talk about the bad parts to avoid people coming in and saying things like you just did.

You have no respect for the TC's wishes obviously. No one here is making it seem like it's a great thing to do. We're simply disscusing smoking as a habit. Not as a right/wrong habit.

maybe because most smokers, whereever we go, get some form of slack for smoking. I mean, the other day I was smoking outside by a bus stop and the wind kept blowing the smoke in the direction of some lady who felt no shame in doing 'the cough'. Y'know- fake coughing to make a point. I can't stand those people

I've been smoking since I was 14 and I'm 18 now. I smoke more if I'm awake earlier or out round town. I smoke about 8 on a normal work day and 3/4 on a weekend where I can lie in and slouch in front of the computer all day.

Same here, I'm an considerate as I can be around non-smokers but do I get a bit of slack for it? No do I sod.

I can't stand the anti-smoking crusade - I don't come round to your houses, slap the burger out your hand and tell you how disgusting you are. So I expect to be treated like an average joe, not a social outcast thanks.

How the hell do people find smoking offensive?! ARGHH

My half brother and father have smoked for upwards two decades and they're starting to resemble m grandparents despite the fact my brother is just recently turning 30, perhaps I'll learn from their mistakes, or maybe the nicotine craving is hereditary.

Mostly a social, weekend smoker. Marlboro, also. Smoke for 1 and a half years. Had the most care to avoid becoming addicted, and it has worked. I won't even think about smoking if my pack isn't on eye distance.

Always enjoyed smoking. Nothing like a cup of coffee and a smoke.
