Any Tips On Driving?

i have my first lesson in about 2 hours.

i've never really driven a car before and i'm soooo nervous.

hope you get a hard-ass instructor who knows his stuff

hitting stuff slows you down. 

Also don't be nervious being nervious just makes you drive worse.

lol, I just got my drivers permit today (would have gotten it yesterday but I failed the computerized test:lol: )

Anyway don't drive slow, drivers hate that, police officer pulled me over for that once:lol:

Tips:

1. Keep your hands on 10 and 2 until you pass your driving test *TRUST ME* once you drive with one hand it is a hard habit to break

2. Drive on the defense. If someone has there blinker on, don't ASSUME they are going to turn, some people are idiots and leave there blinkers on.

3. Always drive the speed limit during the time you have your permit, with a within 5 rule. If the speed limit is thirty, don't go faster than 34...driving instructors flip.

4. On your driving test...always drive within 5mph below the speed limit, it looks good on your part.

5. Keep a good distance away from the car in front of you. Rule is for every 10mph you are going keep one good car length between you and the car in front of you [moslty applies while on the highway]

My sister was telling me everyone teaches 9 and 3 now. Apperantl, if you go 10 and 2, and the airbag deploys, it snaps your arms lig twigs.
