Anyone else?

I was wondering who else has been coming back to Gamespot lately that I used to post with. I've been making sporadic stops into OT (Off Topic Discussion Forum) and find myself surprised and saddened by how slow it has become, so hopefully in the future some of the users I have come to know over the years return and some new, consistent users make their way over to there.

Now to the main part of my blog. Now that the PS4 is out how many of you still find yourself working on a PS3 backlog before upgrading to one? For those that didn't know I got married a few years ago when I had a rather large backlog, something around 30 games, still left to finish on the PS3. Needless to say, this slowed down my progress quite a bit. Then about 7 months ago my wife and I moved to a place we could have pets and got ourselves an adorable little coon hound puppy we named Lexie, which also didn't help the gaming backlog, although I had made some progress on it between getting married, getting sucked into the Mass Effect series for several months and general life distractions. Now I find myself closing in on finally completing my backlog (under 10 games now) and looking forward to seeing what the PS4 era has to offer. Feel free to leave comments below on your recent gaming, or to rub in the fact that you're single, have unlimited gaming time and are already enjoying the PS4 for all it's glory. I miss you guys and look forward to hearing from you in the near future. :)

I only have chance to play games over the summer, so I haven't bothered with a PS4 or XBONE. I intend to stick with my 360 until it dies. There are many games I haven't played and they're so cheap now. If my PS3 hadn't died, I wouldn't have bothered with a PS4 either but, as it did, I might get one next summer.

Ah yes, I remember when OT was a squirming pool of constant e-drama and intense word fighting...

I don't really post in OT anymore, but I decided to stop by today. It is slow, yes. But some of us pre-2013ers still remain.

Always a pleasure to see you Benjins :) That's the hardship of growing up though, almost always less time for gaming between work and life. I miss having seemingly unlimited time to get lost in gaming, now I'm happy if I can find 2-4 hours of it a week.

Indeed, I've always enjoyed our conversations since we have fairly similar taste in gaming, and you're someone I'm always looking forward to running into on my sporadic visits to here when I find the time. :)
