I am, especially considering how there are practically NO good choices! I was really hoping that John Huntsmen would win the GOP nominee, and while they haven't named anyone yet, he's not likely to get chosen. All I hear is Perry (please god no) and Romney (big flip flopper) who are the most likely choice nominees for the GOP nominee. I would rather have Romney than Perry but let's be realistic here, Romeny isn't going to do ANYTHING! It's impossible to tell where he stands on any issue because he keeps "changing" his mind about issues whenever he is talking to a diffferent crowd.

And I don't care for Obama either, he hasn't really done much of anything for me to vote for him. But I don't want to vote for Romney and I sure as hell won't vote for Perry. Look I believe in God too but this guy is going overboard with it, and I find his environmental policies to be disgusting!

This election is going to be just as bad as the Kerry and Bush election. My god! It didn't matter who you voted for that year, you still got screwed!

There's a chance we won't have to endure Obama for another 4 years. That right there is uplifting to me.

What he said. I'll vote for whoever gets the GOP nomination. At this point, in the primary, I'd vote for Bachmann. But I'll back whichever GOP candidate gets the nomination.

Not sure how this is exactly counter to what I said... Mitt I'd consider voting for, would have to examine his platform more carefully in the general as well as his Massachussetts record.

Yeah and what makes me mad is that I'm Independent but everyone expects you to be a Democrat or Republican, but if you say your neither they flip out. It's really our fault though for not demanding better politicians, if there is such a thing.

I left the Republican party because they went too extreame and crazy. I tried the democrats but I don't really think they are any better to be honest, they arn't as extreame like the Republican party is but they don't really seem to care too much about anything like they say they do. They get elected and just sit there and doing nothing.

I like independent but my vote doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. I think we need to kick people out of office and demand better people and hold them accountable.

I hate the two-party system, which is why I think I will vote for Nader (is he running lol?). I know it is practically throwing my vote away, but I refuse to choose the lesser of two evils: we can do better than that, I don't want to choose any evil :P

Did you just say Perry's policies are the same as Obama's? Good luck selling that one.

For the record Perry isn't even my first choice. He's probably like my 4th choice. But he would be a significant upgrade over Obama.

Obama is officially incompetent. He 'jobs bill' confirmed that.

Sorry, not the same. But they do share the same intentions. Except Perry has actually gone through with it:

  • Doubled Texas Debt
  • Doubled Texas gov't
  • Raised taxes
  • Mandated HPV vaccine

Seems to me that fiscal conservatives are giant hypocrites if they vote Perry over Obama for fiscal reasons.

Seems to me that fiscal conservatives are giant hypocrites if they vote Perry over Obama for fiscal reasons.

I think Obama has a major problem when his supporters result to attacking any and all opposition instead of arguing what Obama has done well. When politicians up for reelection are in that position they are in deep trouble.

And Perry is a very flawed candidate and yet would be an upgrade over Obama. Like I said Obama reached his level of incompetence with the Presidency.

[QUOTE="mingmao3046"]the right choice seems extremely obvious to me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohKz9OeiI0g&feature=player_embedded

Ron Paul would be my first choice as well. Talk about the most consistent politician ever.

[QUOTE="KC_Hokie"]Did you just say Perry's policies are the same as Obama's?

You actually think I support Obama in 2012.

Oh dear. Though thanks for rebutting the facts about Rick Perry. Seems like a solid fiscal conservative when you look at his recrod.

I'm not sure who I want to beat Obama, but I do want someone. I've heard Perry is not fiscally conservative enough. I know Bachmann says stupid things like vaccinations can make you retarded. However, I think I like her of those running, but my preferred choice would be the adulterous (?) Palin. Despite being negative about Paul's comments regarding 9/11, I'm warming up to him. It doesn't make sense that Al-Qaeda suffers from what I call "freedom envy" and that's why they attacked the WTC towers and the Pentagon. Santorum's comment was stupid. As for Romney, I hope he admits Romneycare was a mistake, but he won't do that. I don't trust him to repeal Obama's version of it, even if he says he disagrees with it. As for Huntsman, he is a joke and he's not very likable in my opinion. For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about regarding Palin: http://www.theatlanticwire.com/politics/2011/09/cocaine-affairs-and-other-crazy-stuff-new-palin-book/42471/
