anyone else dislike the radio

so i was at work from 3-9 and i counted how many times i heard a lady gaga song

and it was 14 times in six hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cant stand the radio and lady gaga its to much

There is this crazy button called the tuner. I suggest using it and finding a channel that plays music you like. ;)

Fortunately, I have satellite radio. Plenty of different stations for me to listen too, and not get bored or gaga(d)

I have an awesome station to listen too 8)

It's an annoying ass hell when they play the same songs over and over.

I only use the radio for sports now. Don't like most popular music.

I do like the local Rock Station after they have gone through a little restructering.

More music, less talk. the way radio should be. Of course they still have the morning talk shows. Fortunatly though there is one station that prides itself on NOT having morning radio shows and plays music. If you are in to alternative anyway.

Oh god yes. They never play Metal.

Even though they play stuff that would make my eyes bleed everyone seems to love it.

Aside from classic rock stations and various hit 90s songs on the alt stations, the radio completely blows. It's all owned by Clear Channel and other huge radio conglomerates that could care less what they are playing or how much they play a crappy song as long as as many people as possible tune in. There's no integrity left, just greed and crappy music.

but at work that luxury is not to be found... usually

I hardly ever listen to the radio anymore. Imuch prefer internet radio or songs I download or albums I buy.

cant say im a fan.. i dislike when they talk through songs and all the annoying adverts. fortunately i have an ipod connection in my car so i rarely listen to the radio anymore.

I just burn cd's to play in the car from my itunes. Its much better.

I can't hear the radio I'm normally listening to music on my phone.

I hate regular fm/am stations. but I do enjoy unlimited skips and no ads on slacker online radio (i have the paid version)

Nope. That's why I only listen to my ipod.
