As much as I love it, at time South Park can be very "over the top". It tends to push controversial topics as far as they can possibly be pushed. And at times, this works well and is rather funny but, it also sometimes leads to offensive material which I can see as being very inappropriate.
I enjoy more adult aimed cartoons like Family Guy, The Simpsons, American Dad, and Futurama but I find South Park to be disgusting and disturbing.Anyone else think its too extreme?jimmygrace

I don't think South Park is extreme, disgusting nor disturbing. I think South Park is outrageous either. I do think it's getting old though. They change it too much. Many of the best characters in the show are gone or no longer used.

I agree, except for that episode with the kid who got cancer at 5, I thought it went a little bit too far. I know the show is suppose to be that way, but still, I was more sad that the kid died (even if it was fiction) than enjoying the episode.
South Park is overrated. The movie is the funniest movie I've ever seen but the show is too much hit or miss. One episode will be incredible and the next 5 will suck.
I used to like it but then later stopped watching it and hopefully will never watch it again. I think it makes way too much fun of peoples beliefs and religions.
they do things right, I mean with stan saying evolution could be the answer to how and not why, thats an example how they don't have too biased of a veiw, but they do own a lot of people, but they tend to sort of show the positives and the negatives of what they make fun of.
I do think that sometimes they do things just for the sake of shock value. That doesn't take any real amount of cleverness. I stopped watching when it just got dominated by too much toilet humor.

People offended by South Park can just go sit in a corner and cry.
That show is just perfect, neither the Simpsons or Family Guy can get anywhere close to it. (I dunno about Futurama, but is seems crappy to me anyway).

If you took a vote out of those, Southpark is definitely last place. I stopped watching Southpark when I matured and figured out that its just controversial for the sake of being controversial. Its like they dont even try anymore.
South Park is great and always finds ways to make tyou laugh. Some shows may offend people, but its a cartoon and it shouldnt be that big of a deal. i like family guy too, but theres just to many things revolving around how dumb peter is. I like both of them alot, i just started watchin south park first so it will always be my favotrite.
The only objection I've ever had to Southpark is that they made fun of Richard Dawkins worse than any other person in the show's history. More than Tom Cruise! I mean come on! Anyway, it's a brilliant show.
South Park is not just a hilarious animation, It's a tool that its creators use to convey their in certain ways great opinions on the matters now and then. And as the time passes, it's getting better and better.
The show is generally pretty funny but a few episodes are sometimes overly offensive and sometimes are just plain stupid. I've stoped watching South Park not because of that but i think i have seen everything the series has to offer, same with 'The Simpsons' and 'Family Guy'
i LOVE southpark!!! i think its so funny! i didnt really like it when it came out, but the last 4 or 5 series have been reallygood! my fav episodes arethe hybrid car one and ms teacher bangs a boy! butters' episode was also really funny lol!!
