What if I told you I didn't rightly care what happened to the people of Libya and if they ever sent me over there I would do my job and then leave, come home, and never once think about anything I did over there ever again?

The United States like all countries have needs for consumption, rarely will a country go to war with nothing to gain.. The First Iraq War is a great example of this.. Bush Senior's adminstration first claim was to protect the oil fields that were threatened.. This recieved immense unpopularity by the public, so switched it around and said it was about saving the peopel there..

Why is everyone complaining about the US not interfering in Rwanda etc. ? The UN didn't do anything to stop Rwanda genocide, hardly does anything inCongo & Darfur etc. etc. they're just sitting on their fat asses wasting our money and protecting dictatorships.

They have more UN resolutions about the Golan Heights (the most unimportant issue in the world) than about Congo (genocide of 4 million people)

People hate all authority figures. Teachers, bosses, the government, police, the doctor trying to stop me from leaving the psychiatric ward. We despise them all when they use that authority in a way we don't like. People would hate cops no matter what.
