I sometime casually lay down on the couch and watch an hour or so of it. Some of the stuff people argue about are some of the dumbest ever!
I love this one!
Do you watch it OT? Post some of your funniest Judge Judy moments? :P

It is in bad taste enough that peoples dirty laundry get aired on public television, but that, combined with the imbecilic and petty arguments that both parties put forth, only to be mediated by a self-righteous "judge" that thinks they are some kind of charismatic celebrity, just makes the whole thing unbearable for me. If it weren't for the promotion of free-market Capitalism in the US, this type of show would not exist, and shouldn't exist. It is nothing but unhealthy voyeurism.
The next logical progression would be a movie like The Running Man or Death Race becoming a reality- making entertainment out of death row convicts.

Judge Judy was a judge starting in 1982 in family court in New York. She started as a lawyer prosecuting juvenile delinquents in family court back in 1972. She has also been a supervising judge in Manhattan. She has handled more than 20,000 cases while on the bench. Her style hasn't changed from when on the bench to now.
I do but once you watch an episode you pretty much watched them all the only possible reason i continue watching it is when Judge Judy goes off.
