Correct me if I'm wrong but most of them tend to be "Daddy's little Girl" who absolutlely love their daddy, but hate all other men in general.

I'm thinking its because they could control their dad when they were kids, but have a harder time controlling their boyfriend or spouse.

Anyone care to support/debate this?

Side note - I do love my daddy. :D

From what I've seen I have come to this conclusion and I'm gonna get flamed for it.

Most femanists(mostly young ones)are ugly and they know it. There's only a handful of decent looking femanists

they are both awful but the sex card is worse. Here in America you will see racism 10x more than you will see sexism yet they want to act like sexism is still full throttle

You guys are talking about being a feminist as a negative attribute when if you knew anything about it, it isn't. I'm a feminist and all that it encompasses is that women should be given equal opportunity and the same rights as men. There shouldn't even be a divide between woman and man. Opportunities are opportunities regardless of your sex. A sexist woman isn't a feminist.

Well, maybe feminists are just less concerned with making themselves attractive to men, but that's obviously just crazy talk. Here's an appropriate video instead.

I knew a few young feminists when I was a sociology undergrad. I don't remember them as "daddy's girls" at all. They seemed at least as self-reliant as the average student (that's not much, of course).

There is usually a psychological bond formed with females and their dad's and vice versa for boys. Can't say it applies to me though :P

I'm talking about those select people who wake up with their hair a mess and wear messed up clothes. Then when you ask them why they look like that they say "because I don't need to please you men." I can't really talk about women being overweight because a lot of men are too.

I actually kind of agree with you after your explanation. A woman who avoids things as simple as brushing their hair and wearing clean clothes because they feel they don't need to please men? Seems pretty stupid and doesn't have much to do with feminism at all.

I took your comment the wrong way. I apologize.

Generally, in less developed countries, women have significantly less rights and are indeed treated poorly. Even in more developed countries, women still face discrimination. Abuse against women is far more rampant than that against men, the glass ceiling still exists, women are being denied access to birth control and emergency contraception because of "moral objections", and there are quite a few people who want to keep women as subservient beings who keep to the house and children. We've come far, but we still have a long way to go.

... you do realize guys can be feminists too... but to answer your question. no i don't notice that because seriously my friends and i were feminists when we were younger and i have always hated my dad (so did they) so yeah... not all feminists are like that. besides i hate that people assume such things as feminists. like another poster said feminists are not the same as sexist women. *sighs* nevermind

-In regards to firebubbles sig- It's actually really funny, because there can be women's colleges, no problem. However, if you made a man's college, there would be massive protests and the word "sexism" would run as rampant as the Black Plague. In my school there's a feminists club, and everyone's attitude toward it is "well, ok, that's cool I guess". I suggested a masculine club and people were now like "no, that's unacceptable".

Well that doesn't matter. North Korea still thinks we are at war with them. The problems of women in other countries isn't even close to the same level. It best to just stay out of other countries' affairs.
