Anyone ever step on a bee while walking barefoot in the yard?

This is obviously a less serious post, but I have about 3 times, all when I was a young buck.

Closest I have come to that is one of those drink umbrellas through my foot while walking barefoot

Been stung twice...

Once I picked up an apple that had a bee on the other side. The other time was similar to what you've said here, except I rolled right over it in my lawn and it stung me in the stomach.

I see bees on the ground all the time. My uncle who is a much braver man than I am used to squash them with his golf club when we were out playing.

I don't walk barefoot in the yard. You'll get worms!

Once I laid my hand on a bee by accident. One of the most awkward and painful feelings I felt from mother nature.

Yeah, it only took one time to teach me to pay better attention while walking barefoot. :P

Nope I ain't neva been stung in my life...I guess bees just don't like me...*sigh*

I was running down my hallways and got a toothpick shoved inbetween my two toes. I wear shoes now... everywhere.

Walking barefoot outside is a good way to pick up parasitical worms. You don't even need a cut on your foot, they can burrow right in.

Yes I remember it vividly! I was at my aunt and uncles house when I was about 15. It stung me on my right foot between my fourth and little toe.

What added insult to injury was that the day before my 3 younger cousins and I had been playing the fields behind the house and disturbed a wasps nest, and I had been stung twice on my left arm and once on my little finger grabbing my youngest cousin out the way! That was a painful weekend :(

No but my dad ran over a hive with a lawn mower and got stung like fifty times

Never been bear foot outside :) Parasites etc.

No I never really walk outside barefoot.

One time I stepped on dog poo bare footed. That was a bad experience to say the least. Never a bee though....
