Anyone ever use dating sites?

I sadly bit the bullet and used them. You know, for girls desperate enough to sign up and make profiles some sure are pretty stuck up! Anyone else use sites like plentyoffish or eharmony? Oh yeah, most pathetic topic of the night confirmed?

Yeah, I used pof. I met my girlfriend using that site. We're going on two years now.

After using Christianmingle.com for a couple days god has shown me the way to bang.

this guy in some of my classes told he about pof so i made an account on there. i actually met up with some chick from the site yesterday. it was f*ckin stupid though. we'd been talking for about a couple weeks and in the text messages it was obvious that she liked me. but anyways, we met up at a mellow mushroom, the plan was to eat then go back to her place and hang out some more. so we're sitting at the mellow mushroom and 5 minutes after we sit down, her friend calls her and she claims that her friend got hurt and she needed to go back and help her so she couldn't hang out any more after we ate. i knew it was BS right away, and it pissed me off. but i didn't call her out on it at the time. then after we left she texts me and said "sorry but i just wasnt feeling a connection to you" and some crap like that. im just like....really, you decided that after 5 minutes? whatever. at least she paid for the pizza

I've used dating sites in the past, and had some success. Foud two dates, whom I met in person. The seond of those, was so serious that we even planned to get married. But unfortunately, we had to break up due to unavoidable circumstances.

Does FaceBook count? I don't use it to date other people, but some of my friends do and have had some success.
