I know its a gaming forum :P but its off topic, anyways with alot of stress lately I thought I might look into some herbs or something to help me so out of my stupidity I went to a naturopath, thinking why not.

Anyways during my appointment the woman told me so much is wrong with me that I had to walk out of the building because I started feeling sick from what she was saying.... she simply used some dam glass thing to look into my eyes and then came up with this list; Flem in left lung, Dilated Pupils?, Swolled lymph nodes, pressure in my head, too much stomach acid...

Anyways has anyone had experience with these people? should I be worrying about this or should I just trust a proper doctor....

Thanks people.

Naturopaths, homeopaths, et cetera are all terrible people.

Go see a doctor.

Those are all symptoms. Did she not offer any specific information? I've never seen anything to make me think any of these people were credible. There was a guy my dad went to when I was a little kid who used a medallion to identify ailments. Brings back discouraging memories.

When you go into a place purporting to offer medical aid, feeling mostly healthy, and they tell you that basically everything that could be wrong is wrong, and of course they can sell you cures for all of that which ails you... it's time for that proverbial red flag to pop up in the back of your head.

Go see a real doctor and have a real physical.

I forgot to mention I had been to a doctor 2 years ago for lymph nodes and he done some blood test something serum cant remember the full name but it pretty much confirmed it wasn't cancer etc. I also had a blood test done a month ago for this exact purpose to see if I was getting anxiety or stress through some thyroid defficiancy and it all came back fine... except this lady today told me blood tests aren't reliable....
I will visit my proper doctor tomorow get him to check everything she said was wrong with me and then I'll go from there.

Medicine is based on science (in fact it's really just applied biology). Contrast this to homeopathy and other new age crap which are based on...well, stupidity and ignorance mostly. I'd take the opinion of a doctor over the opinion of a new age "healer" any day.

Sounds like a combination of nature and psychopaths. I'd stay away.

i have been to a homoepath, and theyr medicine are all alcoholic, like each dose is like a small shot, and it really isnt that impressive, and i think naturopathy isnt all that amazing either.

Was she accredited? It's very important that you be seeing a professional charlatan, rather than a rank amateur.

Naturopath? That right there sounds fishy.

And there's no way she could diagnose you as having too much stomach acid/phlegm in the lung by just looking in your eye. If that's what she actually did, then I have no doubt that she has no medical degree and doesn't know what she's talking about.
