I've always been that way around people when I first meet them. When I'm comfortable around them I open up.

I generally only talk to strangers if they talk to me first.

I am, except if I'm comfortable with a person or a situation, but that doesn't happen too much. I've been that way pretty much my whole life and i'm looking for ways to stop my shyness.

I am quite shy. Not as much as I was in high-school but still am quite shy when meeting new people and don't like to be in large groups of people outside of university.

I'm pretty shy. I open up around my friends, but if anyone tries to talk to me I usually avoid eye contact and try to get the conversation to stop.

This summer I have been trying to be less shy around people but it can be pretty hard to do when you have been shy you're whole life. And yes, I too listen to metal.

I am very shy. It always feels awkward when someone I don't know or just barely know talks to me. Though I can talk to someone I don't know if I'm introduced by a friend or something like that.
