lol
seriously though, i agree.

I'm straight but if I ended up dating and marrying a woman, and she turned out to have been born a man the entire time.
that would just eff me up in every way possible.

the same with extreme plastic surgery(a little bit doesnt hurt, but a few ppl's face literally changes 100% different)

they can dress the way they like, and i know its a free country and all but its still very very awkward and offputting.

ghoklebutter

I take the view that it's a surgical solution for a psychological problem. Cross-dressing never bothered me but the mere thought of surgically constructed genitals and all that that entails is sickeneing.

Sickening to you, yes. But not to someone who has a real physical need for such a surgery. Also, not all transgender people want to get the surgery. Many of them like to keep the genitals they were born with.

hormone treatment doesn't bother me either.  I just think unneccesary surgery is a step too far.

It's not unnecessary for some people. Most trans* people who have gone through SRS will tell you that they feel at peace in their minds simply because of the surgery. And the desire for SRS can't be eradicated through therapy. In my case, I want to get a vaginoplasty and possibly breast enlargement some time in my life, but it's not because of social pressure or anything like that; I simply feel, very strongly, that I need a full transition in order to feel like I am one with my body.

Yes, they are flaming gay Can you detect closet gays? You can't even verify that when no one knows except himself. Most of professional gays are quite discrete and you don't see them in clubs.

magicalclick

So basically my point should have said "95% of gays men are flaming gays?" Well, flaming or not, they act like that when they are gay So they aren't acting like men.

If all gays turn purple, then, you would be surprised how many gays are actually around you. They are very str8 acting. Seriously, I have no interesting in those butterflies. I wouldn't turn gay if they are not manly. Manly as in str8 acting. I am not talking about muscle queens if you are wondering. There are a lot of those in clubs.

Hmmm, maybe there are lots more than I know of. Only thing I can personally say is that I can tell that a guy is gay a mile off, and I'm right 9 out of 10 times. Of course the ones that are still in the closet or more private I might not be able to tell, but those aren't the ones that I see promoting the gay agenda forward, so you have to understand my point of view coming from a straight guy.

That is just like athlets taking drugs, female plastic surgery, male fake bicept, niptock, Korean typical jaw surgery. They are not required, but, people are doing it.

Yeah, I can't stop them but I wish they wouldn't.  In my dictatorship the only plastic surgery I'd sanction would be for burn victims, horrific accidents and deformities.

Eyelid surgery, boob jobs, nips, tucks, nose jobs, genital mutilation, all that stuff is against my religion.

I'm gay and I would say I generally know how to respond to transgender people. It doesn't really matter to me if someone is transgender, although it does irritate me when they barely make any effort to actually look or sound like the gender they identify as.

What's the gay agenda?

The obvious one you hear about in the news every day, read about it in every 3rd news article, talk about it in every 10th Facebook post etc etc. Shove "Being Gay is Natural and Marriage should be allowed" into everyone's faces whenever they can. DON'T say it ain't true, cause you know it is.

Worthy or not depends on each person's opinion.

I'm just sick of seeing it everywhere I look. Everything has a time and place.

And I'm sick of society pretending that homosexuality is being shoved down people's throats while ignoring the fact that our society encourages heterosexuality for everyone because of heteronormativity.

Maybe it depends on country. Here in Australia it's everywhere you look, read, walk etc. I don't mind them fighting for their rights, but when they start saying that things like Sesame Street had gay themes just to push their agenda forward, it irritates me.

It's not pretending, it is happening. If you don't think it is, then ur naive or live in a country which it isn't as bad as others.

Point is that I see it VERY often but for some reason it seems to annoy you more than me (hence the "get over" comment). I understand that you are gay and going to defend this but you have to admit it's true, if not then you obviously just want to defend it blindly.

I think that might be because of what they can do in terms of surgery. I mean with male transgender people, they can't really do much down below. With females, it seems better but you still have to do some stuff consistently to keep your nether regions from closing up.

I am gay but when I see a transgender I get wierded out. I feel like if you are a man, be a man, if you are a woman, be a woman, gay be gay straight be straight. But when I meet someone who is trangendered I dont know how to be around them. It wierds me out. But I feel so bad because I know that they feel better and they have gone through something similar to what I have except changing sexes. I know they get it even worse than being gay....I dunno, I just feel bad about it. I am lost when I meet transgenders but sympathetic towards them at the same time.

Anyhere in the same position?

rhoads90

Sorry to be Devil's Advocate here, but you say you are gay and people should act what they are. 95% of Gay Men actually act like women so....???

You don't know anything. What you see on movies and tv is not the case. I would say 80% of gay people I meet in life and clubs are not feminine.

indeed it is a VERY small fraction something more along the lines of a graph flip is required to correct your view. some people man..

I think that might be because of what they can do in terms of surgery. I mean with male transgender people, they can't really do much down below. With females, it seems better but you still have to do some stuff consistently to keep your nether regions from closing up.

its also because in VERY few countries are their proper qualified doctors with the proper facilities to preform the surguries in. there are PILES of horror stories of transgender doctors getting sued and jail time for messing up someones body or even killing people while they were under the knife. so alot are more frightened of getting killed trying to become what they desire to be. also in places where its not legal its even worse ebcause some doctors are actually going to just kill you when you come to them b/c they actually want to kill you because they view you as a mistake in the gene pool.

death is a rather good motivator for trying to not be yourself. i put a enough guns to your head and i guarantee you that you will play the part of a duck if i want you to.

as for me i have no problems with transgender at all. in fact i applaude them if they go through wil the changes they want in themselves especially at a younger age. had i been like that when iw as say 16. maybe things would ahve been different for me than they are today..

That statistic is more like 100% because no REAL man would commit the sin that is homosexuality.

No real person with a brain would commit the sin that is believing in a fairy tale invisible friend

I'm not closed minded enough to let people's differences to me cloud my judgment.

[QUOTE="rhoads90"] You don't know anything. What you see on movies and tv is not the case. I would say 80% of gay people I meet in life and clubs are not feminine.FelipeInside

indeed it is a VERY small fraction something more along the lines of a graph flip is required to correct your view. some people man..

"some people man"? Dude, I'm just saying what I see.... and what I see is they act feminine, or I can tell they are gay a mile off. Like I said, maybe it's Australia, I'm just going off what I see.

When you see a gay person, either a) they are not camp, in which case you do not identify them as gay or b) they are camp in, which case you identify them as gay and camp; consequently, your figure for the number of camp gays is subject to sampling bias

[QUOTE="ghoklebutter"]Sickening to you, yes. But not to someone who has a real physical need for such a surgery. Also, not all transgender people want to get the surgery. Many of them like to keep the genitals they were born with.cain006

I think that might be because of what they can do in terms of surgery. I mean with male transgender people, they can't really do much down below. With females, it seems better but you still have to do some stuff consistently to keep your nether regions from closing up.

Trans* men can get surigically-constructed penises with advanced surgery. And those penises function pretty much the exact same way cis penises do. As for what you say about trans* women, it really depends on the surgery done. I have yet to hear of any "closing up" problem.

I'm transgender but don't know how to respond to gay people.

I mean gender is largely a social construct so you can be anything you want but if you like the same sex then that's sort of opposite of your natural biological imperative, I don't know how to be around someone like that.

100% malarkey this is right here... proper bulksh!t... Gender is not a social construct... you sound butthurt about tc finding you weird...

Yes really. It makes no sense to not tolerate someone simply for being gay black, asian, woman, trans, etc. Every body is equally as terrible :P

I'm not gay but Bi, and like toast_burner, it wouldn't effect my judgement of someone. Though I'd always feel like i need to tip to around every topic brought up in discussion trying to to often them :/ Fyi i've never met a trans person.
