I've never watched the first film (only played Kingdom Hearts, so I sorta get the gist), but the effects look pretty, so I might give it a go, maybe if I'm lucky with somebody special :)
Anyone else hyped for Tron?

Hyped isn't the right word for me, but I do want to see it since it looks flashy and I also enjoyed the Tron world in Kingdom Hears 2.
It has Olivia Wilde and thus I hold a grudge against it. On the other hand if it does really well maybe she can finally leave House and do things that won't be ruining my favorite tv show.
I will be going to see Cowboys and Aliens though.

What is this I don't even
people tend to give actresses who are hot a free pass regardless of whether they can act. I do not. Plus I don't even find Olivia Wilde all that hot to begin with.I thought Tron was amazing when I first saw it (and still do). I have always had an affinity for absolute nerdom. I'm going with my best pocket protector and my scientific calculator (never did own a slide rule).
I'm hyped for Daft Punk and Olivia Wilde. thriteenthmonke^This right here. I wouldn't even care about it otherwise. :P
not at all. I dont understand the hype one bit. None of the trailers or clips I have seen look at all mind-blowing. nothing visually sticks out. the CG looks ok. just "ok." They didnt seem to do anything risky with the setting or art style. Also, I dont see what this movie could contribute to the story. Tron didnt need a sequel. I have zero interest in seeing this movie.
Being a fan of Tron (1982), I'm kind of excited to see it but I get the feeling that apart from the amazing special FX, the movie will suck.
