Hey, I bought this book at a garage sale (the book is pretty old) and it has this written on the inside
"LT.G H Snow 790 AC&W Kirksville, Mo." I am pretty sure it is some Soldiers book. I am wanting to try to get this book back to him, or his family. Do the initials mean anything to you and how would I start doing research? And thanks for your help!
The book is War and Peace published in 1956, with the 75 cents price on the cover, and the pages are browning pretty bad, so I know it is pretty old. The person could be from either the Korea or Vietnam era.

I'm not in the military, but common sense says Lt = Lieutenant, G and H are his first initials. Snow is his last name. 790 AC&W must be the street/location. Kirksville = City, Mo = Missouri.
