As a musician, I feel downloading is the best way in this day and age to get your music heard, a small percentage download and dont contribute to the final product. The percentage is as low as theft on the actually hard product or in this case the Disc's themselves to the final grand total. As well as their profits are based mostly on tours rather then the material, the Label is the one that would suffer, if that were even the case. Get your facts straight.
jeez i mean anybody who actually likes them not a bunch of hatersp0NTyI'm very excited. I could care less what all of these people think of Metallica. I like them and really that's all that matters. If they don't like that, well then screw them.
Lars is one of the most annoying so called rock stars that ive ever seen. waa waa i'm not rich enough lets fine a single mother alot of money and get richer waaaaa...crybaby. They rank right up with Paris hilton and britney spears.A1B2C3CALSure they were the ones that voiced they're opions about it, which wasn't a wise decision. However, they certainly weren't the only ones that hated the fact the people could download an entire album for free.
I saw them play a few years ago in the round, and for the last encore they played Disposable Heroes. my favorite metallica song, a song which they hadn't played live in over 9 years. It was amazing, but for the most part, the concert was subpar because they mostly played new stuff. I really can't stand their most recent albums. And the whole downloading thing doesn't help either, considering some of my other favorite bands (Iron Maiden for example) have outright told their fans during concerts that they don't care if you download their music.
Iron Maiden is cool like that..they know that it will benefit them in the long run.I saw them play a few years ago in the round, and for the last encore they played Disposable Heroes. my favorite metallica song, a song which they hadn't played live in over 9 years.
