Anyone Mad At These New Mac Ads?

First off I have disliked Mac for a long time since I was really little. Since in kindergarden I remember we had Macs and they sucked royal. The company has been a joke till iPod came out.

Anyhow there new ads are stupid there bashing Windows for going on a "hugh" ad campain and not "fixing" vista!?!?!

Vista isn't that bad for starters and Mac has been doing ads for a really long while now and since Windows just did a short ad campain there spending "all this money".

Its an ad, who cares.

Of course they're trying to promote their product as the better one, and personally, for what I do, they DO put out a better product.

If you like Windows, use Windows, if you like Mac, use Mac.

Even the old Mac commercials, albeit entertaining, were pretty stupid.
And now Microsoft seems to be making commercials in retaliation...

Its all kind of rediculous; both of them could point out all the features they have, but instead they insist on spending money on dissing another company.


And yeah. theres nothing wrong with Vista. Or Apple products. I like them both :)

Yeah they can be really annoying. I like the counter ads Windows put out.

I think Macs are great and I have a class wear I use the most update Macs there are, but I'm happy still using XP. :)

Apple has devoted numerous ads to just straight up attack Vista (and half of them don't even make sense, like the one with PC sitting down at the table with money). Hell, half the time they don't even talk about OSX at all.

It not only reeks of desperation but is also totally lame; apparently OSX has nothing good in it to advertise.

Yeah, these Mac commercials are dumb. They try to make it look like Mac users are young and "hip", and pc users are old guys who don't understand technology. But since Mac's sales suck, I'd try desperate commercial ads to boost sales too. If it wasn't for the i-pod Apple would have been bankrupt years ago.racer12mike

Mac's have a devote audience and would have always been around. And they created the iPod and changed their image around. Isn't that the type of stuff businesses are supposed to do? Innovate and retool their image?

These Mac commercials are hypocritical to the max. They've been advertising how much they think PCs suck for years, and now that the PC has their own commercial line, a Mac commercial is like "NO WONDER VISTA SUCKS, YOU SPEND ALL YOUR MOMEY ADVERTISING". I want to punch whoever made that commercial in the face.GodLovesDead

I'm not disputing that, I'm saying they have a VERY devout folliowing and released the iPod and retooled their image and became successful again.

And before you call me "just a Mac fan boy" I own both a Mac AND A PC. I love my lap top too, but I'm a Composer and prefer to use Logic, a Mac only program. So why don't you find out who your attacking before you make yourself look like a fool.

And anybody who has a devotion to a type of computer, to the point of just flat out insulting someone is VERY pathetic.
